We stayed here for just one night as part of our honeymoon. On arrival we were immediately upgraded to a bigger suite and on entering the room presented with a bottle of sparkling wine as a complementary gift. This was later added to with a plate of chocolate dipped strawberries having returned from a night out. We didn't stay here... More

We had a 2 queen bed room with a little couch/chair area and it was very nice. I love that the hotel is tucked away in a neighborhood. It's quiet and walking distance to so much stuff! I think they could do some updates to the bathroom and the AC system was very loud when it shut on and off... More

We regularly have high level executive meetings with 18-24 attendees from across USA - Chamberlain Hotel is PERFECT. Great rooms. Great food. An absolute can-do attitude. Lizette Arias is simply the BEST - every meeting is well organized. She doesn't know the word "no" - all she knows is "we can make that happen." Eric Carpio and all the front... More

Stayed at the Chamberlain West Hollywood recently with my husband on our honeymoon for 2 nights whilst we saw the Hollywoods sights. The rooms are nicely decorated and beds very comfortable, but bathrooms are extremely small. I had to straighten my hair in the main living area. I could also hear the persons TV in the room next to us... More

While we took the advice of others on this site and asked for a room on a higher floor, I didn't notice noise of any kind in or around the hotel. Westmount is a brief walk to Santa Monica Boulevard, but is in a very quiet neighborhood. Our room, #327, was very spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

This hotel is near perfect. My partner and I just returned from a four-night stay in a gorgeous one-bedroom apt. with a view of the city and a gorgeous blooming purple jacaranda tree right outside our private balcony. The living/dining room is large and beautifully decorated and the bedroom is inviting and comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart... More

Dear Arrow NYC. Thank you for returning. We could not ask for anything more in a review!!! Just delighted you enjoyed your stay. Yes the Jacaranda Trees are in full bloom. They don't last long so I am pleased you had the opportunity to see how beautiful they are. All the best to you both. Look forward to seeing you... More

My partner and I together with 2 friends spent 2 nights at this hotel and I couldn't fault it. The rooms were amazing and had a very quirky vibe to them. The staff were very accommodating with our checkin for arriving early - they held our bags while we explored LA and the restaurant had a fabulous eggs Benedict! Would... More

Loved the Chamberlain, modern quirky rooms with a great design aesthetic. Nestled away in a quiet residential street but within easy walking to the great West Hollywood scene. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for great service at a great price. Nice toiletries, spacious and quite. The only negatives, were that the sensor light in the entrance was so close... Dear Sevegne N. Thank you for the Charming review. I am just so delighted that you enjoyed your stay at The Chamberlain. You are obviously very well traveled and I must say your wholehearted recommendation put a smile on my face. Should you return to Hawaii and like Thai food, Keo's in Waikiki is a terrific restaurant. I also recommend... More

I stayed at the Chamberlain for business a few weeks ago. Though my colleague and I had the EXACT SAME room, we were charged rates that were $200 apart. After a condescending review of rudimentary economics by the front desk manager (thanks for the lesson, jerk), I left. In principle, it's hard to reconcile 2 people having the exact same... More

Dear Chandra B. I do apologize, we were only trying to explain the process. Large rooms and lots of good will from Eric (supervisor), too bad He didn't manage to pass on that good will to the rest of the staff. Staff is real lazy at the hotel, a lady at reception answered "huh?" a couple of times to me after asking her a question in 2 occasions. Everyone seems to be living in... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
