Sometimes the best test of something is how it fares the second time around. Loved this hotel when I first stayed here; loved it just as much on my second stay. Also referred several colleagues who enjoyed it as much as I did. Friendly, helpful staff; large comfortable room; excellent quiet location just a short walk from everything; good food... More

The rooms have all been recently renovated and have qualities associated with hotels that are much more expensive. All staff whom I encountered had "can-do" and "happy-to-help" attitudes. The location is great with the added bonus of being a short walk to either Santa Monica or Sunset Blvds.

This hotel is a hideaway treat in a residential locale. It's a few blocks from the main drag but still is walking distance to shops, Starbucks and CVS. The lobby is small but quaint. There is a bistro on the main level with a great staff. There's a small outside patio area just outside the bistro which is cozy. Card... More

We usually stay in Santa Monica when we visit LA, but this time we thought we'd try West Hollywood with all its glitz and glamour. We weren't disappointed, esoeically with our hiotel, the Chamberlain. It was little hard to find even using our GPS, but finally navigating a hilly side street there it was, blending in perfectly with the tree-lined... More

Hello Ronjill. Thank you for the delightful and thorough review of our "Urban Boutique" The Chamberlain. I really do like that phrase. I hope you don't mind if I steal it. I see you had the opportunity to visit The Sunset Plaza and it's many shops and Restaurants during your stay. You are so right, it is easy to spend... More

By far, the best hotel in West Hollywood! It is right in the middle of all the action and within walking distance to some amazing bars and restaurants. The BISTRO inside the hotel was wonderful. Great food and the staff was so friendly. Room was so spacious and upscale. Loved the decor and amenities provided, luxury at its best. The... More

The rooms are large (compared to other LA hotels), comfortable and amenities are in ample supply. Located just off the main "drag" of WeHo, its an excellent place to stay. Good Price point also. I found that they frequently offer AAA discounts which brings down the price of the room about 25%. They also offered me two free drinks and... More

On a college tour with one child and this hotel was perfect in every way. It is so difficult to find hotel rooms that are amply sized with two queen beds and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. Sitting area, fireplace and nice sized bath tucked away off the main road in a residential setting.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
