We arrived without reservation (family of 4) but were warmly welcomed by the staff and set up for the night. We were given a brand new cabin, at a reasonable price. The grounds boast fantastic mountain views and a great place to eat (Sierra Vista) just down the road. We were not geared to camping but the staff sorted us... More

We just stayed one night in Lake Isabella, travelling between national parks. The other campgrounds we looked at in the area were trailer parks with a few short term sites & didn't look very good. But this one was geared to travellers, had mountain views, trees and good utility hookups. I am a wheelchair user & the staff kindly gave... More

We only stayed one night at Koa Lake Isabella and we were sorry to leave. Lot to do with kids and the area for RV's was perfect. The only think could be cleaner was the restrooms. We have chosen to use the one in our RV's after using once the one at the campground but otherwise I would 100% go... More

We just stayed an overnight at Koa Lake Isabella and we were not disappointed by this experience ! Quiet environment, good amenities (free-use of common kitchen for all campers with microwave, sinks and table...). Campground was fited with water and electricity. Just one thing disturbed us : the cleanliness of the restrooms should be better, especially during the night.

We just got back yesterday from camping there- July 27, 2014. The campsite is in Sequoia National Park and you'll see mountains 360 degrees. I liked the shaded areas for the tents and RVs. They have free and clean restrooms unlike the coin-operated ones from the State Park's. There is a pool but it would be nice to have someone... More

We knew nothing about this camp site, but as a child I remember staying at a KOA site and I remember it as a great place to stay. We chose this camp site specifically because of Lake Isabella, but on our way to this camp site, we passed by the lake and it doesn't seem like there is any swimming... More

Stopped over on way to Yosemite to break up the drive and so glad we did - lovely site with welcoming owners. Nice shop selling most items, clean showers and facilities. Nice pitches with trees between and a BBQ. Kids loved the splash zone. Cabins looked very pretty from outside with swing chair on porch. Lake Isabella is further up... More

I stayed with my family here, we really like the place. The family who run this place are really wonderful and give their best service for their customer. They also have a small store you can buy every thing.

They offered free ice cream on Fridays. The sites were ok. We got a water and electric site. Brought our tent. The only sad thing is that Lake Isabella is almost none existent. If your reason to go to this Koa is the lake itself; you might find yourself very dissapointed.

We chose this KOA due to it's proximity to Lake Isabella, Kern River and Sequoia National Forest. We stayed in one of the electric/water tent sites. It was easy to get down to Lake Isabella, as well as going up to the Trail of 100 Giants and visiting Kernville. It was nice and quite during the week and the entire... More
