We have stayed at the Hi Lo a couple of times on our way down to Southern California. Both times we have been very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were clean, had no odours, and were quiet. The bathrooms were also clean and there was no mold present. The beds were comfortable, there was wifi, and there is a... More

We love this motel! Perfect 1/2 stop on the way to see family in Carmel Valley from Portland. Funky, cafe next door & a bowling alley around the corner. We ended up hanging with the locals & had a festive time. Just saying!

I've stayed here a couple of times on my way back from the Oregon Coast. This last time, I knew I could get a nice clean and warm room after rejecting the Relax Inn in Yreka. It was worth taking another half-hour before taking a rest. Nice clean rooms, pets allowed, restaurant, gas station and mini mart right there. Great... More

Since the options are limited at that area - this motel is definitely o.k when travelling from Oregon to California. Shasta is a really cool and hippie town to visit and the mt. Shasta is beautiful! So the location is not great (on the highway), but the room was clean, and the price was fair (around 70$ for double bed... More

When traveling north to Oregon there are not a lot of choices in the small towns of Weed and Yreka but this spot will do it for a night. We had the basic room-$60-one bed- and it was fine. No frills. Traffic calmed down after 9PM. It was great to wake up and see Mt Shasta looming in the horizon.... More

I LOVED my stay at this motel. Super convenient to the highway & town. The room was clean & comfortable, but best of all is the old time restaurant on the property! Great food! I was traveling with my dogs and they were warmly welcomed. I would definitely recommend this as a stop midway on a road trip!

Nothing fancy, but a good place for a stopover. Motel was convenient, clean, comfortable, and quiet. A bit dated but good value for price. Attached restaurant had great food.... Staff was very friendly.

We checked in late and were told we were 'upgraded' to a two bedroom suite. The room was a nonsmoking room, yet the room had that old stale cigarette smoky smell and so did the towels. My clothes and husband's cpap machine even picked up the odor - yuk! Even worse was the room was filled with flies. I asked... More

I have to qualify this rating because it is what it is just a $60 room. We were on a road trip from Southern California to the Norther n Oregon and used this place as a one night stop over. We chose the Hi Lo because it looked like it had bigger rooms than the Motel 6 which we said... More

I love mom-n-pop motels, and this one ticks the boxes: cheesy neon sign, cute little units, small creek flows past lower rooms. The problem? The toilet ran all night, the room was slightly shabby and the beds and bedding didn't have that sparkling clean feel that most of us need on a sleepover. Maybe due for renovation, but meanwhile needs... More
