When we booked the Weaverville Hotel it looked like a great location, right in the middle of the historic district in this Gold Rush era town. The best surprise was how the owners, Jeanne and Brian treated us like old friends and did everything to make our stay perfect. We hope to return to see all the seasons in Weaverville.

We booked this hotel as we were visiting Weaverville for the 'Autumn in the Alps' Quilt Festival and because it is right on Main Street and next to the Band Stand. We were delighted to find it a wonderfully comfortable hotel with modern amenities and authentically historic ambience: antiques in the rooms, old photos, newspaper articles, etc. The room was... We recently stayed at the Weaverville Hotel when we attended a family gathering of the ancestors of one of the founding families of the hotel. The hotel has been updated for comfort but still retains the period look. All the furniture are antiques but there are updated features like the bathroom and sound proof walls between the rooms. The owners... More

We were on our way to Weed for a 50th wedding anniversary weekend, and decided to take advantage of the trip to see the Joss House in Weaverville (which has been our bucket list forever). We decided on the Weaverville Hotel as a place to stay, based on TripAdvisor reviews. Jeanne, the hostess was absolutely wonderful on the phone. And... More

We had our hearts set on a B and B, but when we got to Weaverville no one was home so we started looking for other accommodations. Luckily, we found the historic Weaverville Hotel and Emporium. We were dubious at first, but the friendly staff set us at ease and when we were shown the rooms, we couldn't resist. The... More

Lincoln & Brenda H., We were most interested in the historical restoration. But once we arrived, our expectations were met and exceeded. Even with the beautiful restoration, we have stayed at many other historical hotels and the comfort of the bed was lacking. We have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. We highly recommend it, and especially the La Grange... More

The Weaverville Hotel has been beautifully restored with a genuine sense of the history of the area, as well as a sense of the history of the hotel. Jeanne and Brian pay attention to every detail in the rooms and public areas to make your stay comfortable. This is truly a gem in the lovely town of Weaverville.

I've stayed in a lot of fine hotels over my 63 years, but this is one of the nicest. I loved it. The owners, Jeanne and Brian, who beautifully renovated a historic hotel built in 1861, are the on-site managers and they see to every detail to insure their guests have a relaxing, comfortable, enjoying stay. It's not an economy... More

The Weaverville Hotel and Emporium turned out to be really beautiful. Perfectly restored, totally charming, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced as well. Jeanne is a really gracious hostess, who made us feel that we were welcome in her home. The hotel has a great parlor, which she invites us guests to use as our living room, and it really feels...
