Really enjoyable. Victorian rooms, claw foot tub. Hospitality welcoming and charm. Gingerbread fresh cookies with complimentary gourmet coffee bar. Yummy. Try the chocolates, they are delicious! Yum-0! There is an emporium downstairs with something for all. Don't miss it. A must stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Better than many of the B&B's we have stayed in EVER. The attention to detail is amazing and special. I am already ready to go back. Beautiful linens, towels and all the frills.

I would definitely recommend this lovely "jewel" to anyone who would enjoy a restful night in an extremely comfortable setting. The hotel is historic and the owners treat you like royalty. You will certainly enjoy a friendly stay. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that don't give you this fantastic treatment.

This is my second stay at this beautiful hotel. Both visits were 2 nights or more. I travel frequently and I have to say, this magical place is one of my favorites ~ In fact, I find myself looking for an excuse to come back just so I can stay here again!! (no kidding). I am a historian and appreciate... More

I was traveling on business through trinity county and Weaverville was the closest town to my travel locations. This hotel far exceeded my expectations. Jean the hotel's owner and caretaker was absolutely amazing! Her customer services was top notch and the room was absolutely adorable! Everything was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. This hotel was beautifully restored... More

The Weaverville Hotel was not only charming, it was comfortable, quiet, clean and amazing. We were there for business but it turned into a nice little vacation for us. The hotel proprietor and staff were very welcoming and hospitable. The room was beautiful honoring the hotel's past. I loved staying at the Weaverville Hotel and hope that I get to... More

As a corporate traveler, I am looking for 21st century luxury. But in the small towns there are not always main hotel chains, thus the case here in the mountains of California. With this hotel, although clean and well kept up, is a trip into the past. Before TVs and telephones in the room. But it is the experience of... More

When we called to make a reservation, the phone was answered immediately and in a very friendly fashion. Checking in was easy. We were welcomed so warmly and treated like old friends ... we also decided to patronize the Emporium. There, we found a variety of interesting gift items and lots of colorful and fragrant soaps to bring home for... More

What a wonderful experience shopping in the Weaverville Emporium next to the Weaverville hotel. The owner was so helpful and spent a lot of time making sure I got just the right size yoga pants which are so comfortable. She even measured the length with her ruler so that I would know just how many inches to turn them up.... More

A word of caution...I gave the WH a five star rating but if you are considering staying there don't confuse that rating with a five-star hotel in New York or San Francisco. But if Weaverville is in your travel plans I would definitely recommend it over any other place in town. Everyone at the hotel is super friendly (including Jesse... More
