We were in Weaverville for their annual car show and at 57.00 a night we decided to give this motel a shot. Quaint and rustic is a good description of this property. Most units are cabins, some with kitchenettes and carports. The owners are friendly and though older, the units are clean. Our unit (cabin #2)had AC, 2 double beds,... More

Red Hill Motel is a collection of small cabins, some with carports, others not. The rooms have kitchenettes behind a locked door. If you choose to pay the extra $15, the owner just unlocks the door for your access-very convenient. The motel was clean and quiet. Within walking distance to restaurants in Weaverville, which is a lovely town. The atmosphere... More

If you need a place to stay in Weaverville, I highly recommend the Red Hill Motel on the west end of town. It's actually cabins rather than a motel. The proprietor was super friendly and helpful. The bed & pillow was comfy. There is only a shower, no tub. I'd definitely stay here again!

Just had a 3 day stay with several riding buddies. The proprietors are very nice and always happy to see motorcyclists. Several different accommodation choices are available including everything from a single "motel" unit with a double bed, to "the big cabin" which features two rooms, a full kitchen with a full size fridge, and sleeps up to 5 people.... This motel is out of the late 1940's...small cabins with a covered garage right next to the entrance to your room. The rooms are clean with a good bed, TV, wi-fi, refrigerator, and microwave oven. The cabins are old but they are very clean. We had a great stay here. They are pet-friendly. The only drawback was the shower stall...it... More

If you are looking for the modern, turn the handle and get a identikit type of motel, then this isn't for you.The Red Hill motel is a number of individual cabins set around an open area. Yes, they may be a bit dated, but they have character and are somewhat quirky, something lacking in many more modern establishments. Our cabin... More

As many reviewers have already said, these cabins are rustic and in need of some TLC. Adequate for a one night stay in a nice setting. We had cabin #1, nearest to the road but surprisingly quiet. The room was clean but carpets, linens, furnishings were in need of an upgrade. Enjoyed a walk around the town and good dinner... More

Great location in Weaverville, walking distant to downtown restaurants and shops. Rustic and need of a little TLC but a great value. Two of the units are cabins that offer a quiet setting. Will definately stay here again!

If you want newer furnishings and appliances, pay more and stay somewhere else. We picked the Red Hill because they were cat friendly -- probably the only one in the county. We were there two nights. The Red Hill is a good value.

I booked this motel for a group of female motorcyclists and we thought it was adorable from the web photos, but once we arrived we discovered many of our rooms were not only old but not well maintained. Our room had cobwebs in the couch, the curtains falling off the rods, some broken shelves. There was a coffee maker in... More
