Went to this establishment to have a relaxing few days. Got to the hotel at 3 p.m. The Sunday brunch was still sitting out with dirty dishes all over the dining room and outside on the patio. Our room was not ready so we were asked to wait. Could not sit at a table outside because they were dirty. Once... More

First, I would like to say it wasn't a horrible experience, but changes have to be made before I would stay there again. It's a very unique place and full of history and with some work it could be amazing. The golf course hasn't been built yet, but you'd never know that by the info on line. It also says... More

We bought the New Year's Eve package which included dinner, dancing, a queen room, & brunch. When we arrived the hotel was freezing and the staff was trying to get the heater going, we were hungry and asked if we could order a small appetizer as we had a couple hours till dinner, we were told 'no'. The chef didn't... More

As a frequent California traveler, the Ryde Hotel has always been on my stay over list. The 2 things that always catches my eye, are the historical and paranormal aspects of a weekend stay. The Ryde Hotel had both. First off, the staff was very friendly and was excited to hear why I had chosen this place. With lots of... More

We booked Mother's Day Brunch for 9 of us, as we have been here in the past and were pleased with our meal and service. This time was a much different experience. It was a windy morning and upon arrival we were directed to our table outside, which was full of leaves and things that had fallen from the trees.... More

Rumors have circulated that the Ryde Hotel is haunted. I believe that it is. As we stopped by during a road trip, I went inside alone to look around while the others stayed in the car. The hotel seemed very empty. Not one person in sight, which I thought was odd - especially during the summer months. Nevertheless I was... More

First... To sum it up... Everything you have read is true! Let's get the bad out of the way.. Run down, misrepresented website (the golf course is now a field),over priced, TINY continental breakfast, don't drink the water. Now on to the cool stuff. The staff (new owners for about a year), cool architecture, location, trip back in time, spooky... More

Although the bar seems nice, the hotel needs to be remodeled. Our room had cracks in the plaster, a leaky toilet, silver smelling water, dirty carpet, bugs in the bed sheets. The hotel is deteriorating so badly, it cannot be cleaned! Such a Shame, as the location and staff are lovely. Someone needs to invest $$$ in this place and... More

what a quaint hotel makes you think you are in a boarding house from 1920. Room furniture could use some upgrades, but views are great, and the staff the best. Came up here for a friend's party, heard this was the best accommodations available.

The hotel is charming in a time capsule sort of way, certainly not up to date way but the whole Delta region seems like it exists in another era, so that was fine. Staff was pleasant, but the restaurant was a disaster. The menu on the weekend is a fixed price menu with four entrees. We ordered and the pasta... More
