The hotel itself was clean + shiny, but the free parking lot was a 10 min. walk away under a highway ramp (not very inviting), and did not seem monitored at night. If you want to park at the hotel, you pay for valet. For this reason, I would not recommend this hotel. Not so fun to lug your bags... more

My stay was absolutely amazing. I started my stay at Holiday Inn in concord. After two nights of terrible service and below standard rooms, I packed up and moved to the Marriott. This move in the middle of my business trip was very upsetting as I could not affored the time it took to move but I could no longer... more

This was a $53 priceline win on a one night stay for a one night layover before a business appointment the following morning. The most consistent gripe that everyone seems to have with the Walnut Creek Marriott would be the parking. And unfortunately, I can't bring myself to disagree. While the hotel itself is conveniently located, it's completely unreasonable and... more

Easily one of the worst Marriott's I have ever stayed at. The hotel is RIGHT next to a construction site. Every morning, I would be thrashed awake by the sound of a hammer. Front Desk staff was "OK". Valet seemed to be a bunch of hoodlums, and I did not trust them with my car. Terrible stay. more

We spent one night here for a conference before moving to the Sir Francis Drake in San Francisco for the remainder of our trip. Overall, the value was pretty tough to beat. I would reccomend this hotel. Be forewarned that the temperature in Walnut Creek and the temperature in San Francisco can be over 30 degrees different. It was 105... more

Every time I stay here, there's some major problem. I'm not talking about small annoyances or personal preference issues-- I mean major problems. First time, the valet parking smashed up my car (I posted a review in 2006). Luckily it was a rental and I had signed up for the insurance! Second time, I woke up with the worst back... more

We appreciate this guest's comments, and we are reaching a higher standard with our hotel. We have just finished a multi million dollar renovation that includes all of our guestrooms, and replacing those a/c units that did not always function properly. We have purchased a satellite parking lot that is a block from the hotel for those guests who want...

The "valets" were more interested in my car, than helping with my bags, which seemed to be typical. When I got my car back, it was covered in leaves, so obviously it wasn't parked in the garage. Apparently meeting users have priority over guests. The food is limited, and mediocre at best. The concierge lounge was okay, but not as... more

I've been staying at this hotel regularly for a couple of years (fifteen times in the past year), and I've decided, never again, I just can't continue to reward such mediocrity. I've been positively driven into the competition's arms. Nice piano player evenings in the lobby, recently renovated (carpets and bathrooms), nice beds, but it's not a quiet place to... more

Easy to find and only about 4-5 blocks from the BART station, this Marriott is large, convenient, and modern. Room was comfortable, bed was terrific. Lobby was mmodern with subdued lighting, and bar was hopping - and it was only a Thursday night! Parking lot in back is convenient for in-and-out if you're driving. more

I stayed here for 3 days on business. They chage 9.95/day for high speed internet and the service is very slow and useless. I ched the bandwidth, the download sped is 50Kbps and upload speed is 70kbps. this is slower than dial-up service. Never use their in-room broadband internet. It is useless, slow I was unable to downlod my e-mails... more
