We were a group of 12 people and needed a place to overnight on our way to San Francisco. Some friends suggested Marriott Visalia. We arrived quite late but check-inn was smooth and quick. The rooms were big and clean. We were hungry and the lady at reception immediately advised us where to eat in town. Breakfast the next morning... More

This was my second stay at this Marriott in Visalia this year, and I found the quality, standards, value, service up to the usual high quality I have experienced here in past stays. As I stayed during the Christmas season, the hotel was nicely decorated and there was a great "Christmas Village" display in the lobby, it was really nice. Room... More

I just returned from a one night buisness trip stay at the Marriott Visalia Hotel. Overall an excellent hotel, the front desk, maids, waitresses and bartenders were excellent. The check in was fast and prompt, the rooms were clean, large and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The lobby was spacious, and the hotel is convienient... More

My daughter was having a baby on September 21, 2011 at the hospital accross the street from the Marriott-I was told that the hotel gave a discount to people who had family in the hospital. I rushed across to get a room for the night for my other daughter and myself. Was told there was no vacancy and I said... More

I have stayed at this property over 70 nights. The only "issue" I have is that even though I am a Marriott Platinum member when I arrive after 4PM I almost *always* get a room that's less that I reserved. In fairness to this property this happens at every hotel I stay at (about 90 nights a year). You all... More

Walked in, seemed very grand. Very large, nice, comfortable Concierge floor. Staff was very nice. They do have a 'shoe shiner' and a small area with snacks and misc items. They have a nice large bar area and they do have a restaurant, but we did not eat there. The rooms were large and comfy, overlooked a small patio area... More

Upon arrival in the room on the second floor, I opened the drapes to a view across a paved roof with broken glass, trash, dead leaves, etc. The window was so filthy that there were webs, insects, smears on the glass, and it appeared that the window, both inside and out, had not been cleaned in years. I asked the... More

Marriott standards, nice and clean hotel. Rooms are updated and nice. lG flat screens in the room. Beds are comfortable, down type comforters. Bath is roomy and clean. The only thing was the front side of the hotel has traffic noise, clerk said she didn't have any rooms available in back. I also heard a humming no use all night... More

Hotel seemed almost empty, but my room was excellent. . .easy parking. I was on the Concierge floor, and the Lounge was suppose to open at 5 pm Sunday. I asked at Front Desk, and person said it would open. I ran an errand and came back. She said it was not opening that evening but handed me a coupon... More

I stayed here for one night. Overall I was not impressed with this hotel but the location in downtown Visalia was excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The main issues surrounded the housekeeping; There were stains on the bathroom door, hairs in the tub and on the floor as well as dirty drinking glasses in the room. The... More
