After trying a few motels for an overnight stay we came across this place. Excellent value for a large quiet room. Happy to recommend it. The staff were helpful and it was clean and spacious ..........

We had a good stay, with the Sequoia National Park about 40 minutes away. The motel was good value for money. Rooms were very clean, in good condition and had a refrigerator, air conditioning and free wifi. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance - try the Hometown Buffet. Would like to have tried the pool, but it was too early... More

After travelling both the PCH and Route 66, this was a stopover en route back to San Francisco. The room was clean and adequate for 1 night, but noisy patrons arriving at all times of the night did not afford a good nights rest unfortunately, but this is not down to the hotel staff, just rude inconsiderate patrons. Staff were... More

Visalia doesn't seem to have many motels but Econo Lodge was good value for $60 per night. It was comfortable, clean and reasonably well appointed for the price. As with all roadside motels it's best to ask for a room on the second floor away from the road. The "hot" breakfast was the standard budget motel waffle. The only downsides... More

Clean room, new flat screen TV, microwave, fridge. Typical motor lodge hotel. Easy on the budget. Yes, it's an older building but newer hotels in the area cost twice as much. Owners were friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for just clean bed and private shower, this is a place to be. Building was outdated. Room has mini fridge, microwave, wifi with a very poor connection and old furnitures. Has noisy AC too. Breakfast consists of cereals, danish, toast, milk and juice. Lady employee not so helpful. Neighborhood looks scary esp. at night. Good for a short stay... More

This old motel could use some TLC, even though my room was clean and comfortable, the outside of the place and even the driveway is in need of some remodel work or just plain cleaning up. The furnishings in the office/dining area need replacing as do the tables. but the food offered is quite good and the area clean. The... More

After I checked in I asked for the wireless internet password and was told the network was down. That meant two of the things promoted on the hotel website, the pool and the internet, were both unavailable. In the evening a lightning strike knocked out the power in Visalia, so from about 7pm to 5am there was no electricity (I... More

we had no choice to stay here as it was sold out everywhere else due to Memorial Day weekend. If you like very soft/mushy/worn out mattresses and enjoy hearing your next door neighbor's conversations, especially the footsteps/bathroom showering from upstairs, then this is the place for you....the only thing that was mentionable was the decent continental breakfast...
