I travel a lot for work, and have stayed in some real dives, but this was the worst. The room reeks of mold and cigarette smoke, the deadbolt had been been busted off the door, two of the three lamps in the room were busted, the ancient tv got about 4 channels, no clock in room, tile in bathroom was... We stayed here while passing through down to the Kings Canyon and I can honestly say I had a horrible nights sleep. There was noise until about 3am and I thought there was a party outside the door. The rooms are dated but they are clean and the shower was hot. Far too over priced!

This place is dirty, smelly, full of stains on the walls and doors. No face towels, bath towels had basicaly no threds left, bathroom moldy and dirty. I swear that my bed sheets and pillow cases were not washed. No hair drier only wires sticking out of the wall. The outside hallways are fool of stains smells of urine. Internet... More

Had to give it one star because they offer scores lower then that. It was the worst and sleaziest hotel I have ever stayed at. If the health department or OSHA visited this hotel it would be shut down. Electrical outlets unsafe, beds and sheets were nasty, only two towels and one hand towel, no face cloths and they had... Near downtown Visalia being its only plus point, this hotel is basic in the extreme. Cost $60 for the room and breakfast which consisted of a wrapped sugary bun, orange squash and coffee with sprinkled milk powder.

Okay, I'll start with the good things: the woman who checked us in was kind and helpful; the bed was clean and comfortable; the motel is located in a decent part of town. Now on to the disadvantages...unfortunately the bathroom was gross. The floor tiles shifted under your feet as you walked across them. The sink counter had multiple stains... More

This place was of a very bad quality compared to other $50/night motels. The room was significantly dirty, the "non-smoking" room smelled like cigarette smoke and there was a cigarette burn in the sheets, there were a few large cockroaches, the pillows were very lumpy, there were no hand towels or wash cloths at first (housekeeping did bring them on... This was by far the worst America's Best Value Inn we have ever stayed in. The floor in the first room was so weak in places we were afraid we would fall through. The final straw was the toliet seat sliding off the commode. This room was supposedly recently remodeled. No carpet but this may have been a blessing since... More

I recently had the worst stay at the Visalia location. We were arriving late and I called the Inn ahead of time to let them know we would be a late check in. During the phone call the phone attendant hung up on be before I could give her my name. Upon arrival I had to check in through a... More
