My daughter, my two grandchildren and I spent two nights in the Lamp Lighter Inn. It was a great room and the price was fantastic!! Parking was very convenient and aside from a few people making some coming and going noise, the nights were very quiet. We enjoyed the pool during the hot afternoon. And since it was a quiet afternoon... More

Rooms are old and cleanliness is average. Ac makes lot of noise No exhaust fans in toilet and smell spread in the room... I felt like I'm sleeping in a toilet. No free breakfast like other motels of same price range. Nice swimming pool and great location. Will I ever want to come back ? Answer is no.

Well..I am sorry you weren't happy or rather very unhappy. Sometimes a property cannot or is not what a guest expects. I would assume you investigated before making your selection and realized we are not a "new" hotel. The complaint about the bathroom I simply do not understand. The bathroom is in the back part of the room away from... More

I stay all over the world and just love when I can get a cottage with a deck and tables next to the pool. Our cottages pen up together to make a beautiful place that is like your own home. .the bedding is comfy and beautiful. The pool is warm and inviting. The car is parked right next to us.... More

On our way to Yosemite we booked this Inn. We had a good experience, clean rooms, really great wifi connection, nice swimming pool and friendly staff. We had our breakfast at their separate 'diner', where you could order anything you like. Perfect breakfast!

I booked one night stay at this inn for our trip to Sequoia for 4th of July weekend. It's a charming place with swimming pool and of course you can only expect the bare minimum for a 2-star Inn for the price you pay on the biggest national holiday weekend. Everything else is average at most, the bed, the bathroom.... More

We had a great stay at the Lamp liter inn. We were traveling with another couple and found the hotel charming and within a couple miles of the beautiful downtown area. The price was unbeatable as well! A lovely memorable weekend! Thank you lamp liter and staff for helping us out!

It's kind of like staying at your grandma's. Things are a little the worse for wear, but the grounds are lovely and everything is cared for. The hotel room was a bit dark (like at grandma's house!) but had everything we wanted. The service at the front desk was efficient but not gushy. The location was central and easy to... More

A friendly welcome from the reception staff is the first impression of this large motel close to a major road. However we were not disturbed by road noise. It's close to a large shopping centre and has a very well maintained pool and large garden. Rooms are large clean and comfortable.

We have been on a road trip around California. We booked this motel before leaving home. First impressions were " aw how sweet is this place". Beautiful gardens and outside decorations. Rooms were impeccably clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We rested our weary bones by the pool in the afternoon on our 40 degrees celsius day... More

We just stayed one night in this hotel yesterday and all was amazing.nice room, staff and the pool were amazing. Definitely a nice hotel . Just next to the freeway and quiet in the same time. Nice restaurant and shop around there. About one hour to the sequoia national park.
