I loved staying at Valley Ford Hotel. The location was perfect for access to everything in West Marin. The room was clean and cute and I slept soundly! There are a lot of thoughtful touches including the Keurig Coffee bar in the hall. My only regret is that I was there on a day when the restaurant/bar was not open.... More

We could not have been happier with our stay at Valley Ford Hotel. The location is just far enough away that you feel like you are on vacation, and close enough not to spend your whole time driving. And even if you have to drive a ways to get there the scenery is absolutely stunning. We ate most of our... More

The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and quaint. We enjoyed the access to the Keurig Coffee bar just outside of our door in the hallway. In the morning we were greeted with hot hard boiled brown eggs, fresh blueberry scones, granola, milk and juice in same hallway, just 3 steps out our... More

This is a small hotel with simple charms. We have stayed here many times and never been disappointed. Maybe that's because Brandon and Shona are such great hosts! The rooms evoke a simpler era: no television, no radio, no phone. Wardrobes replace closets, a small fridge hides in one corner to hold the cheeses collected throughout the day, the bottle... More

We really enjoyed staying for 2 nights at the Valley Ford Hotel. They have 1 pet room on the first floor which was great b/c there were no other pets - only ours! I really liked how there weren't rule sheets stapled to everything. Once our dog was comfortable, we left her alone in the room to walk down to... More

This was our first experience staying in an old time hotel. We just happened on it and decided to stsy. Since then if we can we choose these. The rooms are simple but adequate. Comfortable bed, bathroom had a shower. Coffee available in the morning. Not much going on in the late evening but isn't that why you are here.... More

It was perfect, home away from home without the TV! Very cozy and warm, the rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable. The morning coffee and breakfast was just everything you would want to start your day right. So glad we discovered it and will definitely be back!

We were looking for a relaxing get-away and this place fit the bill. The room was comfy, clean and quiet (and no TV, wonderful!). The proprietors of the hotel were gracious and friendly and accommodating. We loved sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine. The restaurant, Rocker Oysterfeller's, served delicious food and the staff was friendly and... More

We stayed here because of the other reviews onTrip Advisor, but I must have missed a number of details. First, when we arrived at 4 PM, and the entire place was locked. Thankfully, the bartender heard us trying to get in and opened the door. There was no check-in and after waiting about five minutes, we were given a key.... More
