We stayed there one night with my kids during our trip in North California and we loved this hotel with its authentic room, hosts are very nice and rooms are comfortable and neat. No TV and breakfast on WE only.

We had a wonderful time on a Sunday night, arriving just as the excellent live music was wrapping up. The small but great wine and cocktail selection set us right for a good night's sleep! Then we settled into a comfy, large room with all mod cons and a great bed. After a few nights at a Motel 6, we... More

I would question using the word 'hotel' in the name 'Valley Ford Hotel' because it's really rooms above a restaurant. The restaurant is closed Monday thru Wednesday and the owners and staff members are not on site at this time. We received an email on the day of arrival telling us that the keys to our room would be left... More

The descriptions of the rooms were dead on. No, there's no TV, but they have free WiFi and an MP3 player in the room. They allow one night stays even on the weekends and during the busy summer months. A very relaxing place to spend a night or 2.

This hotel was very comfortable, clean, charming, relaxed and unpretentious. The bed was perfect and the linens lovely. Having coffee available down the hall was delightful and the restaurant was exceptional. We would like to return and stay there often. I would always plan to eat there.

Fabulous retreat in the middle of Marin/Sonoma dairy country. The place looks like it might have come right out of Deadwood, but the people who run it are far more charming than E.B.! We stayed just the one night but found it quite charming and with a lot of thought put into the details by owners who clearly care about... More

We had no TV There was a message sheet stating the water had nitrates and not to drink it....,We had to take a shower in Poison water.,,the room was decorated Ok...We paid an exorbitant... More

Good rate for the area and allows a one night stay on the weekends, owners did the right things to keep you comfortable in an historic building with 7 rooms over a restaurant and bar. Separate entrance leads to thick, cushioney carpet, windows that shut noise out, and very comfortable beds with good linens. Guests share a downstairs livingroom with... More

This was a surprising little gem in a cute one horse town. A good general store across the street, a post office and one or two other shops. Just six bedrooms, all very different with added touches, old country style and fabulous linen on the bed. Good breakfast laid out on the landing but nowhere to sit, so asked the... More
