My family and I just got back from a restful retreat at the Lodge at Blue Lakes. The rooms are wonderful, spacious, and most important, very clean and neat, which is important to my wife and our kids. The people running the lodge are very friendly and kind. Mr. Peter and Ms. Maryann know how to run a hotel. The... More

My husband, six-month old son and I recently stayed at the Lodge at Blue Lakes and it was one of the most peaceful holidays that we've had in a really long time. The scenery was absolutely stunning and our room was over and beyond what we had expected. Not only was it big enough for my husband and me, but... More

Granted we stayed in January and were able to negotiate a reduced rate, but that was only fair considering there were limited amenities (no ice or boats) .To be charged any more would have been flat out wrong. No... More

The Lodge was one of the most wonderful experiences my husband and I have had. The owners are fantastic, friendly and so accomodating. All newly redone rooms with all the amenities. A gorgeous lake and toys to use on it. If you want something catered, they are great. Thanks to Peter and Maryanne our Car Club enjoyed the BEST Mystery... More

This was our second visit and It is now our family hide away! Only 140 miles from SF yet feels like a million miles away. The water is crystal clear, spring fed, cool but not cold...DO NOT think this is anything like gross Clear Lake 10 miles away! Peter, the owner is a great host and is every where, in... More

My two kids (ages 12 and 9) and I stayed at the Lodge at Blue Lakes for a few days since we're were visiting the area for a wedding. I really enjoyed the beauty, the small size, the quietness and the water at Blue Lake. Renting a little boat to take you over to one of the few rope swings... More

My son and his beautiful bride were married at the The Lodge at Blue Lakes on the 4th of July. We arrived the day before the wedding and were absolutely delighted with our room and the staff! The room was beautiful and the staff worked tirelessly catering to our family and friend who came for the wedding. The ceremony took... More

The staff was very warm and helpful, the room was lovely (though small), the lake is magnificent (we had an amazing sunset kayak ride!), they were so welcoming of our dog! The bed was elegant and comfortable, the shower was elegant and roomy. The warm croissants delivered to our door were perfect! There is a fish-cleaning station and several gas... More

Room was updated and well appointed. Staff was superior. We stayed to attend a wedding at this location and the wedding coordinator and entire event was top notch. Beautiful lake as well. We have stayed at a competitor on the same lake for the last 14 years and I would recommend The Lodge at Blue Lakes to anyone. We will... More
