Vichy hot springs is a no frills kind of place, but there is plenty of room to be yourself and enjoy the simpler things it offers. (we did some yoga by the swimming pool in the AM) The springs have incredible healing properties. You can drink the water, and as for soaking the tubs are in the ground and gravity... more

My husband and I visited Vichy Springs in February at a really quiet time for the resort. The resort grounds are beautiful and it is really kept up. We stayed in a Creekside room and it was nice to hear the creek at night. After exploring the grounds -- and looking into the windows of the cabins, we decided to... more

Vichy Hot Springs is a great destination for people who like hot springs, hiking, and hopping from vineyard to vineyard. However, the famous baths are too cool for the winter. It would've been great during the summer. There's a heated pool that's nice and the carbonated baths made my skin feel amazing, but they were just not hot enough for... more

Our family LOVES Vichy. My kids wonder at the deer, jack rabbits, and wild turkeys that are right outside the cottage door. The mineral baths (bring warm robes to bundle up in the winter time) with all of the bubbles are like nothing else -- so relaxing to float in that water staring up at the blue sky or watching... more

Lots of wild life, turkeys, deer and good food and really nice accomodations which you can match to the size of the family. It really does have everything you need if you just want to go somewhere where you dont have to go to town. You can cook in some units or not in others. You have a choice. The... more

We are a family of three (3 year old boy and parents) and were looking forward to our first family outing to the hotsprings. As soon as we arrived and got out of the car we were greeted by gunfire! (Nobody ever mentionend that there is a gun range not a 1/4 mile down the road. They go from 8am... more

We stop at Vichy every summer on our way up the coast to camp in Northern California. It's a nice half way spot for us. Although Vichy definitely has spa-like attributes, the huge pool, lawns and cottages on the property make it ideal for my family. The kids loved running around and swimming, and chasing the hoards of deer that... more

Our family of five stayed in Cottage #14, 2 bedroom with kitchenette. It was beautiful! Hardwood floors, large bathroom, pull-out couch, french doors, and even a robin's nest with babies and mama bird on the post of the porch out front! The large pool was so refreshing (a bit cool at first, but was just right after a few minutes).... more

Vichy Springs Resort is the perfect getaway from San Francisco. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. The hiking trails are fun and numerous. The management makes a special effort if they are aware it is a special event such as an anniversary. We come to Vichy often, and highly recommend it to our friends. The rooms are... more

Looking for a peaceful weekend retreat, I stumbled upon Vichy Hot Spring's website. I've stayed at Esalen in the past, and felt worlds away and completely renewed after, so was looking for a similar experience. I tried them first, but they were booked. Then I tried Harbin Hot Springs, they were booked as well. So I called Vichy. When I... more
