Orr is set in a secluded lush area. The cottages, yurts, and tents are set up in a way that lends to privacy in a public resort. The waters are nice and hot. The communal soaking area has two cement soakers at hot and hotter temps. There are quite a few private cast iron tubs as well as two semi... More

My husband and I chose to camp as there were no rooms available last minute. If you subtract $30 pp day use from the $60pp camping rate, the $30 pp charge to sleep on the ground seemed a bit steep, but otherwise, the grounds were beautiful in spring. The facilities great, and the communal kitchen big enough for everyone to... More

We were very well welcomed. Nice place in the forest with natural relaxing hot springs. We were in a yurt and it was fun! The place is very wet at this season. The rooms and facilities are very clé an. Nothing to buy there: you have to bring your meal but you can store and cook

Orr Hot Springs is a gorgeous earthy healing oasis with a taste of zen meditative landscape, yogic culture, refreshing island groove and enchanting warmth of european touch. The Spa Resort is very secluded and engulfed by the empowering spirit of the mountain and dense forest. Most guests here are like-minded seeking for quiet time to retreat and connect with nature.... I have been in this place several times and always wish I had more time to enjoy the tranquility of the property. This hotel is not easy to reach but the drive is totally worth it. You can fly to Santa Rosa , rent a car and drive 2 h. I usually stay in SF, then take side roads to... More

I love Orr Hot Springs. It's out in the country, it's clothing optional, has a great kitchen and cold pool, as well as steam and sauna. The only reason I don't give it a 5 rating is the old private tubs. Last time I was there, they hadn't been upgraded, and there was no where to put anything. They've been... More

The baths are nice. They a have lots of different areas to soak. The setting is pleasant and clam. It's clothing optional. There is a kitchen everyone can use, it can get a little crowded at times so you need some patience. There is a long drive to supplies, so bring food and towels with you. The room we stayed... More

I love Orr Hot Springs. I have gone for decades and can't remember a time that it wasn't fabulous. We rented the whole place out for my 50th bday and it will be a lifelong memory. They have individual tubs, warm and hot out door pools. They have a steam and sauna next to a cold pool you can jump... More

My niece brought my brother and I here for a day trip, and it didn't disappoint! The hot springs were just the thing after the ride up and down the Mendocino coast, just soaking in the pools was sheer bliss. Bear in mind that it is clothing-optional, but out of respect for my niece our bathing suits stayed on! You... More

I had an afternoon to do something I wanted this week, so I decided to visit Orr Hot Springs. The drive is longer than I imagined, but I am glad the road is paved. Once I got there, the property gives a really good first impression. The grounds are really well kept, and the buildings are maintained. I registered in... More
