I stay here for work and pleasure. I have hosted work conferences at this hotel too. I always bring my dog with me. The staff remembers me and welcomes us like its home to us both. The rooms are well appointed and reasonably priced for the area. Great people who give great recommendations. Stella is yummie and convient for breakfast.... More

We have stayed here twice, once last March and again this December. The lodge is very comfortable, especially when you go into the dining area for your breakfast. The rooms are efficient, but not overly spacious but there is a good common room with a nice fire and coffee and as stated before, the breakfast serving is diverse and delicious.... More

There's nothing like staying someplace where some blessed soul has actually thought about the simple functional niceties we like to have when vacationing. These folks get the trophy. First of all the place has been built with the planet in mind, using reclaimed materials, as well as indigenous goods. The logs and timbers you first witness remind you of the... More

This was the overflow hotel for a conference I attended. The hotel is quaint and nice - great owner and staff is very accommodating!! Rooms were clean and updated but it still felt a bit old to me. My shower area was fabulous!! Great wi-fi service but the work service was not very conducive to working at night - small... More

We have been regulars to Tahoe for 30 years. Options in Truckee used to be pretty sparse. We didn't even know this place existed until this summer. We were surprised to hear they have been open 8 years! What a great find. The architecture alone is worth the trip. Room was modern and eco-friendly. Very cool. Snacks encouraged guests to... More

My hubby, our dog and I stayed at this lovely little boutique hotel. If you have traveled to Europe you will appreciate the design of the rooms. We stayed in the premium queen and it was well acquainted. All the furniture is modern and works effectively for your needs. The walk in shower was huge as so was the patio... More

Our second visit was as good as our first. Q We reserved a standard queen room and upon arrival they gave us an upgrade room with balcony. Some of the rooms are close to the main road, so you may want to wander around the several buildings before check in to help select your location. We liked the walk in... More

My fiancé and I just arrived home from our second get away to the Cedar a House a Sport a Hotel, and it was even better than our first stay. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and well appointed. Every member of the staff provided top-notch service, and the owners were charming and gregarious. We had dinner at Stella's, and... More

My family just returned from a long weekend at the Cedar House Sport Hotel. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The design of the hotel is quite beautiful, and the service was very good and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and we arrived just as they were putting out their early evening snacks (chocolate ganache pie from Stella, nice... More

I visited for a wedding, and stayed 4 nights. My room was comfy and quiet, and my only complaint was that there are no drawers. Anywhere. Living out of my suitcase. Seems a little silly. I imagine that if you are there forskiing, it would beva bit inconvenient, staff frienfly and helpful.,
