We had a phenomenal time at this hotel. One example of the great customer service - my husband and I were sitting in the lounge area while our children were skiing. We were looking for a Barron's newspaper, but the hotel didn't have one. About 20 minutes later, a young hotel staff member came over to us with a color,... More

This is a beautiful property located on the mountain with the ease of ski -in/ski-out access, which was very enticing to us. Unfortunately, they seem to operate knowing that they have the prime location. The food at this property is way overpriced for the quality and quantity. We were there for a quick ski trip and had every meal at... More

Dear Chaput Family, I appreciate you taking the time to review your stay at our resort and we are pleased that you enjoyed the comfort of our beautifully furnished rooms and slope-side location. I apologize that you had a disappointing experience in our dinning outlets in terms of food offerings and overall service. I’ve addressed your feedback with our Food... More

Nestled high above NorthStar Base, this Ritz Carlton was the picture of western elegance. My room was delightful, overlooking the slopes. I enjoyed the fireplace with sitting area as I was on east coast time and being able to sit for a few hours with a coffee and my book added to my relaxation. I loved sitting and working in... More

This was my first trip to snowboarding in Tahoe. My wife and I wanted a hotel that had some nice common areas to relax in when we wanted to get out of our room and we wanted to have easy access to the slopes. The Ritz provided both. The room was great, nice view, good size, and well put together.... More

This was the second time visiting the RC Lake Tahoe and it won't be the last! Everything and everyone made our quick, mid-week getaway a wonderful experience. The rooms were outstanding in comfort, as we had previously experienced. All the usual inclusions for a plush living space. As was the case with our first visit, we were on the Club... More

We stayed here for 3 nights for a weekend ski getaway with my 2 teenage girls. My husband and I couldn't be happier how well they treated us and my girls. It is an experience they will cherish and I'm glad ritz carlton was part of it. The staff left an impression to them about how nice everyone is and... More

This property was beautiful, and service was top notch. The rooms were huge, with plenty of room for seating & sleeping, and decorated beautifully! The cost of the room was average for a 5 star hotel, but beware of the typical "extras", parking $35, resort fee $25.... As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, which in this... More

I was not sure I was going to write a review here, because the vast majority of reviews are justifiably excellent, and I felt I would just add echoes to the praise. However the service in this hotel is special - really special. We booked into a Club room which gives access to the Club lounge on the 5th Floor... More

Ritz Carlton is fantastic if expensive base for skiiing in Northstar... everything set up to make skiing really easy with kids, ski in / ski out. Ski school meets 30ft from back door. They do Smores at 4.30pm round the fire pit. Restaurant choice a little limited, but you won't notice over weekend. Rooms are good. Outside heated pool is... More
