Being a platinum member of Marriott for years, we chose the Ritz expecting to have an upgraded room with a nice view. We were told we had a nice view. It was a nice view of the gondola station just outside our window. And as on our reservation request at all Marriott properties, feather free rooms for allergies. When we... More

We have stayed at the Ritz Tahoe about 6 or 8 times, both in the summer and winter. This is one of our favorite retreats from the City. The property is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and remembers our names (no idea how they remember, given how large the hotel is....). We love the Club Lounge (use the Visa card... More

I know this is usually a big winter destination but this is our second trip here in June and we love it. The staff is amazing, especially Joel at the front desk who went out of his way to accommodate us on short notice and made our brief and spontaneous trip very memorable. The backyard area is great and has... More

The location is top notch! You had me when I pulled in. Just beautiful . My husband myself and three 2 year old spent a few nights and enjoyed every bit of it. On out first night I took my son in search of something sweet and ran into a kitchen manager who whisked us in the kitchen to choose... More

We really liked this hotel. Why? The hotel staff are friendly, down to earth and service oriented. The Club Level staff, led by Roselio, are great. The food in the hotel, including the Club Lounge, was surprisingly good. We would come back any time, although the room rates in June are a super deal.

This is a beautiful hotel but there are lots of little details who are not up to a 5 star property. The staff is very friendly but many employees would be better suited to a Marriott Courtyard category, not Ritz Carlton. We were in room 409. Nice room, no balcony but a space to stand outside. We had to request... More

We absolutely loved our time at the Ritz in Lake Tahoe. The hotel was not a full capacity when we visited so it felt like our very own mountain getaway. We booked a club room and the service in the club was outstanding as usual. I took ski lessons from the school and the instructors were great. I will say... More

I guess I expected more because it was the Ritz Carlton. The property is beautiful. Most of customer service was gracious and friendly, with the exception of the food server. We told are server that our coffee was sour, her reply, I'll just get you some more coffee. Why not say, she can make another pot? She didn't once come... More

Kevin and the club lounge staff spoiled us rotten! My kids were over the moon with the indoor campout package and the quest to find the teddy bear. The in house ski shop and ski school were top notch. You will love this place!
