Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. Top quality cuisine, from bar food appetizers to entrees. Superb breakfast buffet on weekend. Outdoor 85 degree pool at spa is awesome on a cold snowy morning. Gondola to village with skating rink and fire pits to be enjoyed day or evening.

Stayed in the lofts, which were quite dated and old, but charming in a "mountain" kind of way. The village in general was great, lots of fun stuff to do, great shopping, decent restaurants. Looking forward to going back.

I stood here and it was so beautiful being in the mountains. They had an ice skating rink in the village and many stores to shop at. The lift to the top of the mountain was great. At the top they had some hiking trails. Also there were 3 restaurants to chose from. It was snow season, but i know... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for first trip to Lake Tahoe. The service was great, very helpful and nice. The cabin was ok/good. The fireplace was nice and netflix was available. However the sink and tub drains were not working well and the place can use some update. We didn't do any activities there or eat at their restaurants since... More

I was pleasantly surprised to find I was given a complimentary upgrade from the studio condo that I booked and paid for to a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. The place had a nice separate balcony from the livingroom and the bedroom. I was surprised to see that the bedrooms were located on the main floor just as you walk... More

We stayed at Northstar during a short summer vacation in North Tahoe. The newly-created village was lovely - fun shops and restaurants, nice skating rink, mini-gold and trampolines for kids. The recreation center (an additional $2/day fee for guests) was well worth the money -- full of cardio equipment, and two terrific pools (including an adults only lap pool), and... More

Our family has been going to Northstar since the early 1990's. It was such a family oriented facility with great amenities, clean and updated. Now I would never recommend this property in the year 2014. We stayed there twice this summer and both visits were regrettable. The television did not operate after several calls to housekeeping, and the carpets were... More

I am a huge fan of Northstar - a beautiful centrally located Tahoe/Sierra resort with a beautiful tennis center and great walkable village. In the past, we've stayed in the Aspen Grove condos because they are so walkable to the village and tennis and have lovely outdoor space in the trees. The one bedrooms were unavailable for our travel dates... More

We stayed in a 2 bed condo in Catamount. It was centrally located and very nice. It worked perfectly for our group of 6. The staff at Tahoe Mountain Lodging was great to work with as well. The pool, hot tubs & proximity to shops & restaurants was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!
