We came accross this place after our reservation at Sounds of the Sea went terribly wrong. Befor we could get out of ther I was on the phone with Emerald Forest told them our situation and asked if they had availabilty. The lady was very pleasant assured us they had availabilty. We drove over and found two awesome pull through... More

Absolutely fabulous. This was my second time at Emerald Forest and it was just as magical as the first. My fiance and I always get a cabin when we come to visit. They are clean and well supplied with everything you need. I swear that this forest is enchanted. My fiance claimed that he thought we got lost, and somehow... More

We stayed here for a few nights while we explored the redwoods and the north coast. We came across it by accident after rejecting a few other spots, and were happy we did. We had a nice little cabin that sat under the trees. It was clean, quiet and romantic. In the morning we talked to the woman at the... More

We loved the cabin we stayed in.......... cozy and comfy. (I did have to kill a couple of spiders, but that's no big deal.) We enjoyed having two bedrooms, a living room, and a full kitchen. We had a lot of space for the price! The redwoods surrounding the cabins are beautiful...it was very peaceful and quiet.

I was surprised with how the campground was in the middle of a redwood grove! It made for a beautiful setting! The cabin was very nice! It was clean and had everything you could want for a cabin or even a nice hotel room! The only negative was that it was a little high in price at about $130 a... More

We stayed in a cabin there for three nights while hiking in the nearby redwood parks. Space was tight but we managed to cook dinner there three nights. Location is also convenient to Trinidad where there is an excellent market called Murphy's. Lots of big trees in the property and a creek, so it has a real rustic feel.

We thought this place would be very rough around the edges. Far from it. A brand, spanking new, perfectly appointed pine cottage with two bedrooms and spotless, new, and well-equipped kitchenette. I am impressed. I am a non-smoker, but my friend and travelling companion does smoke. Smoking was forbidden inside the cabin, but the management thoughtfully provides for the smoking... More

We stumbled upon the Emerald Forest Cabins and RV park after being turned away from Patrick's Point State Campground and I am so, so very glad we did. The Emerald Forest is a magical, fairy tale like setting with rustic cabins set back among the redwood trees. It's the type of place where you would expect to see leprachauns, sprites,... More

Stayed at a cabin in this RV/ cabin/ camping park. Clean, spacious, well appointed cabin. Park is in convenient location not far from Hwy 101. If RV'ing, this is the best park in area by far. RV spots have full hook ups, are spacious and surrounded by enormous redwoods- what a setting. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Trinidad is... More

I would stay here ever summer if I could!! Our cabin was perfect! Comfy and cozy with a great view and every comfort of home. From the moment we checked in and were given a listing of all the area restaurants as well as a quick review of each (tactfully stating something nice about each), the entire staff was EXTREMELY...
