But whoa! Someone cancelled at the last moment, and I got the best room in the house -- on the second floor, overlooking the water on 3 sides. I slept the sleep of the angels, and that was after weeks of (ech!) tent camping cum bugs. I was exhausted, sick of my camping cuisine, and would have done cartwheels to... More

I am so glad that I was able to accommodate you at the last minute. It worked out for everyone..the person who canceled did not have to pay for their room and you were able to stay the night. I will have to find out more about that tombstone at the cemetery! Sounds like a interesting story. Hope the rest... More

this is a lovely spot and the room was nice, however the bathroom was the smallest we've ever been in and my tall husband had to kneel on the floor to shave to see into the mirror and the shower was so small you couldn't turn around in it! The room was ok but we believe it was not worth... More

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that bathroom did not work out for you. The Crab Pot room is our smallest room and has the smallest bathroom. It is also our "economy" room which is the least expensive out of the 4 rooms. The shower is a basic 30 inch wide stall. For a more spacious bathroom I would... More

This is a lovely little B&B right across the street from the bay. The rooms were beautifully furnished, and breakfast was delicious - and portions were reasonable. It was a perfect stop on the way up to Ashland, so much so that 3/4 of the guests when we were there were doing just that. We enjoyed hiking in the Redwoods... More

This B&B is located in what is likely the most charming house in Trinidad with an unobstructed view of the ocean - especially impressive for us at night with the lights twinkling across the bay. Making the reservation on-line just the day before was really efficient with quick response from Jason, the innkeeper. We stayed in the well appointed, private... More

Thank you for your kind review. Yes, the online reservation system on the website is a great way to reserve rooms. I am glad you were able to take advantage of the trail maps and experience as much as possible in the Redwoods. Hope to see you again in the future! More

We stayed here for two nights after backpacking in the Lost Coast and arrived smelly, sandy and in desperate need of a shower. It was perfect! Beautiful view, home-made chocolate chip cookies in the foyer and a comfy bed - we were in heaven. A perfect B&B for backpackers who need a little R&R after a long trip.

First class location, a stunning view, and tasteful design make up for the price and the somewhat coolish (though rather professional attitude) of Jason, the owner of the place. We were the only guests, and felt a bit like intruders into his privacy. I would have loved to ask one or 2 touristy questions about Trinidad, but he did not... More

We stayed here two nights over the Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. The Redwoods of the Tall Trees Grove is what lured us to the area and I had read online that Trinidad was a perfect location for a base camp. I used Trip Advisor to find a nice place to stay and was happy to learn the... More

I would highly recommend Trinidad Bay B&B for a family retreat or reunion. We just got back from celebrating our niece's college graduation from Humboldt. My mom and dad, my sister and her family, and I all stayed there and had our own rooms with baths. The location is perfection--right on the bay with postcard perfect views. The innkeeper and... More

TheTrinidad Bay B&B was the perfect accommodations for our family celebration of our daughter's graduation from HSU. Trinidad is a charming town with breathtaking views. We really enjoyed our stay here. This sweet little red B&B, just across the street from the water, is an appealing haven for travelers. We had the Tide Pool Room, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Set apart from the main house, with windows on three sides, this is reminiscent of a fish-bowl, and that's not a bad thing! Shades and curtains... More
