We chose this hotel based on location and an extremely reasonable nightly rate which was discounted to $68.00 for a four night stay. Due to a family saddness we had to return to LA after just traveled there two weeks early so our budget was important. After reviewing the Trip Advisor reviews we found it to be a clean hotel... Good location, near a shopping, stores, and supermarket. The room is big, clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom was ok too. The reception staff gave us full attention with some problems we had with the locker and internet access. It was very easy to get the 405 from the hotel, and our room was not noisy. And... More

Stayed in room 310 July 2011 for 10 days. At first we thought they were mozquito bites but the welts continued to appear everyday. Entire family was bitten on exposed areas. Both adjacent rooms were empty and kept open during our stay. I snow suspect they had been fumigated and were being ventilated. They still gave us the room between... More

This place is setup like a motel. It's very run down. Although they are supposed to have free wi-fi, it doesn't work in most rooms. They say you can use it in the lobby, which is TINY and has one loveseat. This is a huge problem if you're travelling on business or need to do any trip planning online. The... More

Our first priority is to ensure guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, there was a period of time during which our wireless internet system was being reconfigured for better service, which caused temporary intermittent reception in rooms. We are happy to inform you that the wireless system is currently running, new and improved! Please accept our apologies for the interruption in service ---... More

I chose this hotel because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor and to take advantage of the advanced purchase rate at $62 per night but regret that I did it. The room looked like it had not been renovated for 50 years. Especially the carpet looked disgusting. I know the cleaning lady cleans it everyday, but only a deep, thorough... More

We paid around 45 USD for a room with two queen beds. The room was spacious, and comfortable, albeit a little dated. The price included breakfast and free wifi in the lobby. It was located in a good area that had several food places and some grocery shopping along the street, and getting to the various highways was also fairly... More

The hotel is a bit outdated.the bed was not so comfortable. My fridge was missing the control knob, so everything was frozen overnight. The staff was very helpful and very friendy. Overall I was satisfied. I think it is what it is for the money. More

We booked this hotel plus a car for 71 dol a night, and we were expecting what we paid for...nothing great. Instead we found a nice, comfortable room, with a comfortable king size bed. Internet was free and it worked all the time (we stayed for 6 nights), parking was also free. Housekeeping service was good...it was a great value... More

This is your basic hotel nothing much to brag about other than I paid a good price online for it. There isn't a pool but the beach is really close by and that is why we stayed here. Sleeping was not comfortable because the air conditioner really didn't work and what air came out went straight into the curtains so... More

I was in Torrance to visit friends for a week. I preferred to stay on my own. The hotel is definitely two star. Understand what that means - no pool - no restaurant. But, if you can live without a pool, there are plenty of decent restaurants nearby - many you can walk to. If you are not familiar with... More
