This hotel is excellent if you can drive...... otherwise stay nearer the centre! The girl on the car hire desk was most helpful during our stay! Th hotel seems to lack a concierge and the front desk staff are less than helpful.... they dont even know what time the mall acrss the street opens! Breakfast staff were amazing and offered... more

Short Story: Very nice rooms, gym, pool, bar downstairs and Starbucks. Odd: you have to pay extra for parking, extra for Internet access in your room, and there's no fridge or dvd player in the room. It was a slap in the face to find out when I was checking in that wireless access was free in the concierge. I... more

We only live about 30 minutes away, but decided to spend my Marriott Rewards e-certificate for a free night at the Torrance Marriott. Check-in was smooth. I thought they might give me a sub-par room because it was for free, but I was given a room on the Concierge level (with no concierge access). The room was nice enough -... more

I work in the securities industry, and since the stock market opens at 6:30 pacific time, we have to be at the office at that time. As a frequent traveler, and one on a food budget, the concierge lounge is extremely important in our daily planning. As with all Marriotts, the concierge lounge is open a 6:30 am. This is... more

I just hate it when you know its a rip off ,the hotel knows its a rip off and you have a mexican stand off as no ones prepared to budge ! We booked into the Marriot and got the average room with a TV that was used on the Flintstones , the decor was bland and the towels were... more

Have stayed many times, the rooms are always clean and the staff always very helpful and friendly. Handy to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment, and the wine bar in the foyer is lovely. And I think the beds would have to be the most comfortable I have slept in. Not sure why they charge for parking though when there seems... more

My wife and I stayed at the Marriot, which hosted her high school 40th reunion. From the front desk at check-in, to the maids, the bartenders and the restaurant staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The drinks were not cheap but were also absolutely first class. We only ate breakfast (twice) and had excellent food and service - couldn't... more

I stayed here for 2 nights in June because I had business nearby. I was with a coworker, and the room I stayed in was just okay but his room was much nicer on a high floor with a flat-screen TV. My guess is that they are currently in the process of upgrading the rooms since our rooms had a... more

Don't stay here unless you work for Lufthansa - my room was not ready as promised. The front desk staff told me that it was too bad, they have a contract with the airlines and the airlines get priority over every other customer. Once you do get to check-in (be ready to sit in the lobby for three hours) the... more
