My partner and I recently spent two days at Bounty Island resort and we were both impressed by the friendly staff, sand soaked beaches, outdoor activities and the stunning views. We heard the management changed just before our arrival, so looking at previous reviews I assume that has made a big improvement. Its not 5 star so dont expect 5... More

I don't even know where to begin. Probably that we should've known something was going to be seriously bad about the Bounty Island trip the moment Coconut Joe started apologising for the island on the boat trip over, telling us at he did not actually work for the island itself. Hmmmm. We arrived at the submarine which had the almost... More

We had booked and paid for a private Bure on Wotif. When we arrived on the evening Yasawa Flyer we were told they were "overbooked" and had no room for us except for the dorm which was nothing like what I had booked. We had to take a boat back to the mainland (wasting a day of the bula pass)... More

As soon as we arrived the odd vibe and atmosphere of the place was evident. We were greeted by the customer services representative Sam, who took us and introduced us to the receptionist. She informed us that the island's catering system was based around a meal plan that costs $75 per day for 3 meals. We informed her that one... More

Beautiful island. Stayed for two nights in a beach-front bungalow. Hammock and snorkel gear is included which was all what was needed to relax for a few days and to enjoy the amazing underwater-world. Bungalow was clean and bed comfortable. When staying for two days, a free ride with the island-owned submarine is possible (incl free drinks), which offers also... More

We stayed at bounty island 3 nights in the island bure and had a great time. We got a good deal due to low season so the price was good value for money. Riley and greg and the staff were great even though there were some mix ups with the rooms. Snorkeling is great and the island is nice. Good... More

The accomodation was basic and that was fine with us. You get what you pay for, it was clean and fairly comfortable. The food however was very average and overpriced. The island itself is spectacular. The snorkelling was amazing, just walking off the beach and into the water and straight onto the reef was awesome. Go around to the north... More

Stayed 1 night on 21/11/14. Day started with a speed boat trip from Bamboo. Staff very friendly and helpful. "Sam's" singing / entertainment / humour was great. The manager "Greg" was very approachable and made sure that we had a great time. Restaurant staff "Vivian" and snorkelling staff ":Georgee" needs special mention. Lady at the reception went out of her... More

This was our last stop on our trip to the islands and we woul have preferred to have just gone back to the mainland. We can't understand how there are so many good reviews! The island itself could be quite nice but it just felt that everything in terms of the resort was tired and desperately in need of renovation.... More

Bula Mat and thanks for your review which makes for an interesting read. Firstly I would like to point out that this is a budget resort (not Denarau) which is why we are inexpensive. ~The dorms are all air-conditioned and have fly screens...unfortunately those sneaky little insects do have a habit of coming in through open doors OR sometimes they...
