What a lovely peaceful place to stay, room was superb, house keeping superb, exceptional menu and food is first class, presentation 100%. I would definitely return for another visit. Recommend the seabass fish dish, for anyone visiting soon. Thank you Craig, Al, James and all the staff.

We stayed here for our first night on tour of Scotland. After 6 hour drive to get here, we had a warm welcome and we're taken to our room. They have 3 rooms on site and ours was spacious and comfortable (Sinclair suite) ... not 5 star luxury but clean and comfortable. What makes this place is the food. Portion... More

Visited here recently for 2 nights, for dinner, bed and breakfast. The food is outstanding in terms of the 'gastro pub' experience. A fairly priced, inovative menu with daily changing specials which can be enjoyed in either the cosy lounge bar, or a more formal dining room. Rooms too are fairly priced and comfortable, however, my one complaint would be... More

I was treated to a lovely Sunday dinner out by my Mum and Dad. They have been coming here for years and always have positive things to say about their meal. They are such regular visitors everyone knows their favourite table. I was not disappointed. I was intrigued by some of the flavour combinations when reading them in the menu.... More

Once again on our annual visit to Scotland we stayed at The Sorn Inn. We were welcomed like old friends and given our usual room. Charlie, our dog was also made so welcome with biscuits in the bar. Our evening meal was better than ever and I was very happy on previous visits. A pint of excellent ale and a... More

The Sorn Inn, although a little off the beaten track,is a wee gem. Having travelled through the lovely Ayrshire countryside to the very pretty village of Sorn, we arrived to find the Inn in darkness. Initial worries were soon gone, and we were soon met by the very friendly owner and shown to our perfectly pleasant room. It is the... More

We booked an overnight at the Sorn Inn on our way further north, and what a little gem it turned out to be. The room we had was fitted with a super king size bed, with lots of space and a sumptuous bathroom too. The food was simply amazing. And the beer was top quality too. I have no hesitation... More
