We have eaten here several times over the past few years and never been disappointed yet. The food and service were top notch as always. We had lunch in the bar as a party of 5 and everything from the burgers to the fish were well presented and delicious.

Having returned from Australia 6 months ago myself and my husband have been sampling all of the delights Scotland has to offer….. The Sorn Inn is the best lunch we've had so far! Exceptional scallops and Sea bream…. the flavours of both our starters and main course were first class. The staff were super friendly and welcomed you like a... More

Welcome wasn't that warm because we hadn't booked yet the chop house was completely empty. Explained that my wife had a wheat intolerance, gave the impression they understood, asked at every course, but they managed to serve her a desert with ground up Digestive biscuit in it. She's only just recovered now after 4 weeks of torture - staff we... More

Stayed here at the weekend for a couple of nights away with the wife to celebrate an anniversary. Booked this place because we could take our dog. Its a small coaching Inn set in a tiny wee Ayrshire village but don't let that put you off. The place is small, cosy, friendly and the staff could not be more attentive.... More

Just back from a lovely weekend away with my wife and dog at the Sorn Inn, Sorn. Firstly the owner and staff were really so friendly, nothing was to much trouble and they made the break so easy and restful. We stayed in the dog friendly Brydon Suite which had a super kingsize bed and a very nice shower en-suite,... More

A well kept secret this Inn has been ! We only found it by accident after a wrong turn how glad am I that I'm a rubbish navigator when driving. The ribeye steak platter is what had me making plans to return before I had even finished the steak is pricey but worth every single mouth full and the double... More

A colleague and I were stayed here whilst attending training nearby and had an amazing few days. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious I stayed in the Sinclair suite which was lovely! The staff and locals were extremely friendly ensuring we had everything we needed and even taking us to and from our training courses! On the first night... More

Stayed 1 night as I was visiting customers nearby. Stayed in the Piper Suite, great room and well appointed. Evening meal and Breakfast were great. No mobile phone reception (o2) but probably not a bad thing ! Would stay again.

We stayed 1 night in the Piper Suit. The bedroom is large, very clean and well decorated. The en-suite was also large, but not as well modern as the bedroom . Dinner that night was excellent, the food was of a very high standard and very well presented. Mrs K and I both had the ribeye steak for the main... More

Had a family meal here last Sunday. 2 adults and 2 kids. The food was as usual delicious. We both had a steak which was a treat. The kids had steak pie and ice cream for dessert. Service was perfect. I do prefer to sit in the Chop House with the kids but thought we'd give the restaurant a try.... More
