It's just unbelievably bad. Dirty carpet, smoking room advertised as non-smoking.... I'm so glad I asked to see the room before actually paying for it. And it was $79 (!). Value for 2 double beds is something like $40. Stay away please. Best Western next door is just 20 dollars extra, super clean , has breakfast and miles ahead in... More

This place is not even on my top 100 places to stay. The staff here is very unprofessional and rude. room 120 doesn't even have a refrigerator because someone has stolen it. the manager refused to give us a key. His excuse was that the room did not have a key and would not give us another room. The towels... More

Sleep in your car, under your car, or under the wheel of you car before staying at this dump. Non-smoker rooms are anything but. Cigarette burns on all the furniture. Sheets are dingy grey and pillows should have been replaced 25 years ago. Pretty much the sleeziest motel I've ever stayed in, and all this at $60.00 a night.

It was nice and quiet when we checked in but within 5 mins the trains started coming through the town with whistles blowing. They lasted all night and one local told us that 67 pass through every day.Great if you are... found this santa fe to be one of the older motels we stayed in...bit expensive but found the rooms clean & tidy...situated on the main street, so having a train fanatic in my husband. he enjoyed trains going through all night....manager looks like he has family help run this motel & all were very helpful with anything we requested

I like trains and on my recent train spotting trip to the line between Bakersfield an Mojave I choose this charming motel to stay near the famous Tehachapi loop. I also love this classic style of motels especially when the rooms are clean, the owner is very friendly and the whole site is in very good shape like the Santa... More

I hadn't made a reservation. They answered the bell right away. Had my two dogs which weren't a problem for them. (I told them they didn't bark, chew things up, or make messes and that they wouldn't even know dogs had been in the room when we left...and that's true.) It was clean, good locks, tv had lots of cable... More

Located in downtown Tehachapi, which is still a very quiet calm area; it also is the oldest motel in town, and it looks it and smells it. The carpet is shot with a lot of cig burns. The furniture was junky and dusty. It had a refrigerator that was so old it smelled foul and was yellowed inside, the tv... More
