I needed to crash before I crashed. I pulled off the highway at 11 pm and began looking for a place to lay my head. The big hotel right off the freeway wanted 119 for a room. This place was 3 miles away and quoted me $50. So at 11 pm I went for it. The office smelled of curry... More

This review is for an easy night at a motel that cost $45, not for a more expensive place. Given that, the people at Ranch House Motel are friendly and considerate, the rooms are clean with nice tiling in the bathrooms, and I had a great night's sleep. The room was of reasonable size with 2 comfortable beds. It was pretty cold and the friendly owners provide a heater. The sink was glued... More

I needed a room for the night, since my plans to make the drive back to Long Beach from Tehachapi had changed suddenly due to my fatigue from the day's activities. I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel room, just something cozy for the night. That the room was without AC was a disappointment, but it was disclosed in advance... More

We were on our way to Bakersfield to see my grandma with my wife and my two young kids. We were on a budget and we looked every where for a room, it was 3:30 am and we were tiered. we came across a sighn that said Ranch Motel with an arrow pointing down a residential street. We didn't know... More

This motel is a dump. The rooms are filthy, with layers of dust on everything, the carpets are stained, the bedlinen is full of cigarette burns l could go on.. I slept fully clothed and wouldn't walk on the carpet without shoes. And it doesn't end there...the motel is right on the railroad crossing so you are kept awake all night by the... More
