If you expect or need Embassy Suites or any other chain motel, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a place where you will be treated like family, then this is the place to be. I've met other visitors during my stays that are now dear friends that I visit year round. The main dozen... More

It's hard to describe why we like it. I know this is not an Embassy Suite type of establishment. We usually go to a decent hotel like Hampton Inn or even more luxurious type such as the Embassy Suite. This place is more like a Motel 6 or road side motel type, small rooms. But it is CLEAN. The furniture... More

Unusual place, interesting and unique, sometimes in a good way and othertimes in a bad way. Stayed in concierge room, which had a pull down bed with a poor mattress giving us bad backs by the morning. Room seemed clean. Nothing matched, which was nice and refreshing even if the decor was not my taste! Shower didn't work, not enough... More

When we arrived at the "resort " early october there was nobody, the place was completely desolate, the office closed. There was an envelop tacked on the office door with my name containing the Bill. The property looked more like à parking lot for trailers then à resort . there is à Pottery shop and à bistro on the premises, both closed. It... More

If you want luxury, action, television and internett, stay in Las Vegas, don't go to Tecopa if you don't mean it. In Tecopa, you get the basic. A clean, cool, basic room, where you can sleep, a burning hot desert outside that wants to kill you, and some delightful indoor baths with 40°C (104°F) hot natural spring water. We loved... More

If they call people who jump into frigid waters in the middle of summer 'polar bears', what do they call someone who sits in a hot spring in the hot desert summer? With that said, my car indicated 118 degrees when I arrived, so we basically had the place to ourselves. VERY pleasant staff, clean room, albeit a bit old.... More

The resort may be ill-named as such, but it is a simple oasis for spending a quiet night or two. The grounds and office are decorated with local art and pottery. We stayed in a cabin, which wasn't really rustic as described. It may not have the matched furniture of a motel room, but it had chair, table, night table,... More

Stayed for two nights on our way back from Death Valley. Nice, clean rooms. Hot mineral spa, three total for private use. No clock, TV, microwave or refrigerator. Need to request service by 3 PM even for basic trash removal! Average friendly reception (limited timings). All rooms have noisy A/C units. No restaurants near by except a bistro which may... More

Went to check out the hotsprings. Really was as good as advertised. The room was very clean, and the adjoining hot springs tub was perfect. I was able to use the soaking pool many times. The grounds at the resort are clean, with cool pots and gardens in almost every corner. I also liked the fact that I was fifty... More

And it's in the middle of nowhere, (which we expected) with a 5 room motel in the middle of RV's, pots, pans, dingy chairs strewn around and no place nearby for breakfast (no coffee in rooms).....with this said and to be fair...I enjoyed the jacuzzi-like Mineral (?) springs baths, the staff was very nice, the rooms where clean and comfortable,...
