The resort may be ill-named as such, but it is a simple oasis for spending a quiet night or two. The grounds and office are decorated with local art and pottery. We stayed in a cabin, which wasn't really rustic as described. It may not have the matched furniture of a motel room, but it had chair, table, night table,... More

Stayed for two nights on our way back from Death Valley. Nice, clean rooms. Hot mineral spa, three total for private use. No clock, TV, microwave or refrigerator. Need to request service by 3 PM even for basic trash removal! Average friendly reception (limited timings). All rooms have noisy A/C units. No restaurants near by except a bistro which may... More

Went to check out the hotsprings. Really was as good as advertised. The room was very clean, and the adjoining hot springs tub was perfect. I was able to use the soaking pool many times. The grounds at the resort are clean, with cool pots and gardens in almost every corner. I also liked the fact that I was fifty... More

And it's in the middle of nowhere, (which we expected) with a 5 room motel in the middle of RV's, pots, pans, dingy chairs strewn around and no place nearby for breakfast (no coffee in rooms).....with this said and to be fair...I enjoyed the jacuzzi-like Mineral (?) springs baths, the staff was very nice, the rooms where clean and comfortable,... Ok this is not a 5 star hotel- it's a great little oasis in the middle of nowhere with incredible night skies, great mineral water, and clean basic rooms. The front desk is open 12-5 there's no cell service, no internet just peace. We LOVED it and really enjoyed the private soaking room. There is no chlorine in the water... More

I would first like to point out, that the room was not a Holiday Inn or a Ritz. But what are you really looking for coming to a location like this?! I LOVED that it was in the middle of nowhere and that the staff was overly helpful. The room (#11) was very Dive-y. Dont expect it to be found... More

We had a good experience staying here ... just keep your expectations considering that its as small town (I saw 10 - 20 houses or hotel room total). Is in middle of the desert, and there is no one around after dark ... the front desk is available from 12 noon to 5 PM and thats it. But you can... More

I spent here one night and I really enjoyed: I used the hot water room, very relaxing and I enjoyed the food at the bistro. Ok, there's not so much to do around since you're in the middle of nothing, but if you pass by I suggest to spend one night here. A very peaceful and relaxing place! We ate... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the resort last weekend. What a lovely weekend we had. There was a lightning storm on display for over two hours. The facilities were immaculate. The hot tubs, clean and peaceful. The woman at the office, Angie, was friendly and helpful. Apparently, I booked my stay on the wrong date and they did... More

Traveled through Tecopa years ago and always wanted to come back. It is not fancy but clean and comfortable. No tv, no problem. Sitting outside in the early evening watching the birds and bats was wonderful. It was so quite and very relaxing. The lady that checked us in told was about Pastels Bistro and we were looking forward to... More
