For us this was a shot in the dark but we struck gold. Received a warm welcome from Richard with tea and scones. Lovely room with thoughtful touches such as a sewing kit. The whole place was sooo peaceful. Best of all was the delicious breakfasts and fresh home made bread. Helen too made us feel at home. Very convenient... More

From our arrival on October 7 when Richard made coffee for three and chatted to us in the delightful conservatory, we knew we'd enjoy our stay. Breakfast is an amazing array of delicious fresh chopped fruit , cereals, yogurt, home-made bread and preserves, plus pastries and croissants. You can then choose from the hot menu, a full English, scrambled eggs... More

A lovely welcome awaits you from Helen and Richard. Comfy rooms, views to die for and superb breakfasts - what more could you want, oh apart from the hot tub in the garden which was very welcome after a long day out. Would thoroughly recommend Rescorla and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Great welcome from Helen and Richard. Fabulous room with fan, great for the 30c we had during our stay. Breakfast amazing and so much choice for a food allergy sufferer. Very clean, nicely decorated, outside space to sit quietly and read one of the up to date magazines available. Eggs from the free range chickens and produce sourced locally. Delicious... More

Everything the other 5 star reviewers say is true. The hosts are friendly and relaxed. The house is well located, within a few minutes of eden Project, Lost Gardens of heligan, and many other places. The rooms are modernised and comfortable. The breakfast (including fresh fruit salad daily, home made jams and marmalades, eggs from the garden hens, and choice... More

We stayed in Rescola House during Easter 2013. It is the best B&B we have ever stayed in!! Everything was perfect and we would definitely return to this B&B. The room we stayed in (Charlestown) was massive and the bathroom was even bigger! Helen and Richard are very friendly and also the cute cat they have is very friendly :P.... More
