someone needs to pay more attention to the upkeep of the cabins. This property has by far the most spectacular views and access to Lake Tahoe!!! You cannot find a better place to stay right on the lake. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I've never encountered a friendlier housekeeping staff. Kudos to all of them. All the management needs... More

I went camping here with 2 of my cousins and my brother. It was an awesome place to camp. It was very open though, not much space or privacy between each camp site...but that didn't matter to us. we were campsite T4 so we were right next to the bathrooms. At first we were worried that there was going to... More

My family has been coming to the campground which is just across the marina since the 1940's when the forest service owned it. We stayed here recently, and the Resort part is really nice. When my folks were coming to this area to camp, we always thought of the cabins as the "Rich people" part. Now we stay here, but... More

We camped there with a tent trailer. The location is amazing. Beatiful beach. Restrooms and showers looked new and were very clean. Hot water was incosistent, though. Could be hot and wonderful, but at time was plain cold. Beware you need to buy coins to use the showers, and coins are sold only at the resort's general store that closes... More

Two families with 3 teenagers spent two great nights camping over the labor day weekend. The beach was lovely and having the marina right there where you could rent paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, or ski boats was wonderfully convenient. I was very surprised by the negative review above because our experience could not have been more different. Every... More

Stayed at Meek's Bay for 3 nights in an RV. We had plot R2 which is close to the toilets & showers & very close to the beach. Site was very clean and the toilets were cleaned daily to a good standard & kept clean. Didn't use the showers as we had the RV, but they looked very clean &... More

Holy smokes! What a terrible resort! Evil....truly evil staff. Worst camping evperience EVER due entirely to staff from dock boys all the way up to hostile management. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK! The boss came to our site at 9pm at nite and harrassed my wife and kidz and told them we had to move to another area only there... More

I have camped at Meeks many times over the last 20yrs loved staying with friends and family due to the beautiful beach. But ever sence the older couple that used to run the reservations and store left the place has gone way down hill! The bathrooms are so dirty, toilet clogged showers cold! Not fun taking a cold shower after... More

We first visited Meek's Bay in 2009. We camped on a small site within close proximity of the bathrooms. When we arrived, our site was not clean. It was littered with trash from previous visitors. The bathrooms were not clean and were run down. The showers ran cold. At night, bears walked around the tents, rattled the dumpsters, and caused... More

We made RV reservations about 10 months prior to our arrival and paid about $250 to stay for 5 days. About six weeks before our trip we had to cancell due to financhial reasons. I called to cancel and was told that my credit card would be credited. After a couple of more calls and e-mails there was still no... More
