The creaking floor, the wallpapered claw foot tub, the single spout hot/cold sink, the gas fireplace, the cozy room with bed adorned with a lace canopy like a mosquito net - all this quaintness is a break from contemporary accommodations. This is no Hilton or Marriott. And that works well here. You are offering a familiar nostalgia lodged and tumbled... More

Tahoma Meadows is located about midway on the West Shore. Very quiet location with easy access to both south and north Tahoe locations. Dick and Ulli are wonderful and helpful people. Dick's knowledge of the hiking and skiing trails are excellent. He is also a great resource for 'off the beaten path' knowledge. We would stay here again.

My favorite asset at EXCELLENT Tahoma Meadows B&B is that they are TRULY PUP-FRIENDLY and not just money hungry and tolerant of dogs. Yes I have stayed elsewhere read the title to know where. While I was told that the other location is pet friendly what I experienced there is much different. I do not believe that having a couple... More

Tahoma Meadows B&B Cottages is pup-friendly and took our last-minute reservation the day before Presidents' weekend 2015. We thought that our cabin, "Meadow" was just perfect for the three of us. The room had the basic expected amenities and a cute Tahoe-esque feel, decorated with vintage winter sports gear on the walls. The location is tucked away from the majority... More

This was my 4th visit to Tahoma Meadows, love it. It is rustic and charming in a beautiful location. I love the german breakfast & evening happy hour. The setting is peaceful, it's so nice to start your day, sipping coffee & looking through the pines at the lake. The weekend recharged my depleted battery. There wasn't snow but the... More

We've stayed in Tahoma Meadows multiple times since 2010 and they've given us wonderful consistent service each and everytime. We've stayed in the Treehouse, Sugarpine and Forest Chalet. The cottages are well maintained, clean, warm and have all the basic amenities available. They also honor last minute bookings whenever possible. There is a store just across the cottage to buy... This was the perfect place for a 2 night get away. We stayed in the Sun Cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. It was cozy, rustic, & had some of the comforts of home. The property is beautiful. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Gail is fantastic. She was so very helpful with places... More

This was our fifth time at Tahoma Meadows. We had "Sugar Pine", it's one of the more expensive ones because it's bigger, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was so cute! I felt part of that eighties' video by Wham "Last Christmas". Just so cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was great as usual ... Thank you everyone for the outstanding... More

There is a lot to be said for Tahoma Meadows. The location on the west shore is ideal for hiking, water sports, and nearby skiing, but is away from north shore tourism and South Lake Tahoe commercialism. The B&B is dog-friendly, and children would love the old-time cabins. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. The wi-fi and full cable TV... More
