My husband and I had never been to Lake Tahoe before, and were in town for a wedding taking place nearby. We ended up loving Tahoma Meadows, and would definitely recommend this to others visiting the Lake. It was a great location, right across the street from the Lake and near many amazing hiking trails and lake activities - we... More

I rate B&B’s differently than I would rate a hotel. B&B’s are allowed some amount of quirkiness, which is then defined as being “cute,” “charming,” “vintage,” or “homey.” However, there is a fine line between quirkiness and not being convenient or comfortable. Having said that, let’s start with the positives. The owners are wonderful, accommodating, friendly, and the perfect hosts.... More

We (family of four adults) stayed in the Boat House cottage for 3 nights in June and really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this lovely location. Dick, Ulli and Nancy gave us a huge welcome and were more than happy to provide information and suggestions on local activities and places of interest. Dick generously invited us to breakfast on... My husband and I had a great experience. We stayed in the alpenglow cottage. Everybody is really nice. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom is small. The breakfast was okay if you like casseroles. We had breakfast casseroles all 3 days. Overall we would stay there again next year. The location is great. Two thumbs up. We love... More

We stayed in Bird House with themed decor. Comfy bed Outside seating on deck. Friendly hosts - Gayle in the afternoon provided drinks, nibbles and useful information and maps for walking; Nancy in the morning served a superb range of cooked breakfasts. Great to be able to meet other guests at these times. Bright light, which we thought was outside... More

My wife and I stayed July 3rd thru July 6th. The cottage was amazing, exactly what we were expecting but more!!! The place was small but cozy, nature all around us. The bed & breakfast staff were awesome, Nancy was very pleasant and an exceptional host. The breakfast was very tasty and plenty to go around. Nice conversations with the... More

We stayed three nights in the Bird House and found our cottage and breakfasts to be superb. The cottage is small, but tastefully decorated. The bed was fine, the bathroom small but perfectly adequate. There was a nice assortment of yummy, freshly prepared egg and bread dishes each morning. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and hot chocolate were wonderful. Right off... More

It is like one of those holes in the wall, a gem that shines more brightly than the rest around it, though all is wonderful, there is that extra light here. The owners and gayle, who greets everyone with such genuine care, one could stay months, not just days. The cabins are so wonderful a cozy. The offerings for breakfast... More

My husband, dog and I stayed at Tahoma Meadows this past week. We had the best time! Our cottage was delightful and charming and had everything needed for our comfort. The gas fireplace kept us warm in the chilly evenings. We loved the feeling of being in the forest. The homemade breakfast was great, much more than we expected! Very... More

We had a great stay, very friendly owners and staff. Matt waited until 8pm for our arrival, very much appreciated. Our cottage Bears Den was very nicely decorated, bear motives everywhere inside and outsite, really cosy. Home made breakfast was delicious.Would surely recommend to others. One thing to be aware of is that it is a bit isolated so if... More
