This is an older hotel that is in the midst of upgrades. Some of the rooms are brand new and are very nice. Some of the rooms have some updates and are very suitable. And some of the rooms still need some updates. We stayed in a room with a king and bunk beds that still needs some updates. The... More

My wife and I just stayed here and we were beyond impressed! Rooms in the Squirrel House, are all new and look better than rooms at the Hyatt our room had a great view of the lake and mountains. There are new gas grills and tables in the common areas. We grilled out each night and had dinner outside overlooking... More

My husband and I stay here for our anniversary over the weekend. It was such a cute place. The employees were so helpful and nice, truly cared to make sure that we had a great stay. Had a nice beach area that they share with another hotel. There was a pizza place within walking distance that was also very good.

This is an AWESOME place to stay... We stayed in the Squirrel House -- an amazing, rustic room, comfortable bed -- the comfort of the room made it difficult to leave and enjoy the beautiful outdoors! It was great enjoying the view from our comfortable seat by the picture window -- spectacular view of the lake!!! Also, it was great... More

I really liked this place, it was serene, you felt like you were in the mountains not on a Main Street. The rooms were a good size and it was quiet. The girls at the desk were very heloful to recommend activities, The only suggestion is bring your own towel. The towels are very small and scratchy. I will stay... More

Great, quiet location and not far from things to do. The front desk staff was amazing!!! So nice, helpful and took great care of us! We had a noisy neighbor and they immediately upgraded us to one of the renovated rooms in the squirrel house. Purely relaxing and comfortable room! It is true not all of their rooms have been... I found this place on Airbnb and It was a pleasure to stay. The room was clean and beautifully remodelled. Very functional and the most comfortable beds and linen. Kitchenette was great for us, including a coffee machine and fridge so that we could keep our snacks chilled and enjoy a coffee out in the sun of a morning. Not... More

The room was very clean and beautifully decorated.I would include pictures of the remodeled rooms on brochure, rustic modern. Can't wait to see what the rest of the remodel will be. The hostess was very personal and helpful. We would return again.

Old old old rooms. Paint peeling off. The shower is impossible to fit into if you are over six feet tall. Bed is crazy uncomfortable. Heater is from ancient days. I gave it an extra star because room was clean and they allow pets. Not going to return. My room looked nothing like the pictures, more of a hostel than... More

Our family including a 2 year old stayed one night in one of the newly renovated rooms. Smartly decorated, a very roomy room with 2 king sized beds, well equiped kitchenette area, very nice bathroom. An easy walk across the street to the lake. The woman at check out was very friendly.
