The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable. We had a small table with 2 chairs and a balcony with 2 chairs as well that overlooked Lake Tahoe. The bathroom was a good size but could have use another towel rack for used towels. The continental breakfast... More

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Pros - Close proximity to everything that you want to do in Tahoe - beach across the street - a couple of restaurants within walking distance - fast internet access (Yay!) - Clean, affordable and always free parking spots - Breakfast in the morning Cons - Small bathroom - Walls/floors are... We booked this hotel because it's across the street from Lake Tahoe. We had a view of half the lake from our balcony. The room had a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The hot tub and pool were clean. The complimentary breakfast offered waffles, cereal, bread/rolls and fruit. However the bathroom was small with an industrial toilet. There was a... More

The room was nice and comfortable with great beds and plenty of room for a group of 5. It was well maintained and promptly cleaned each day. The woman at the desk was extremely friendly and accomodating. The hotel is right across the street from a nice tahoe beach that we spent a great afternoon swimming and playing. The next... More

It isn't flashy, or snazzy, but it is comfortable (2 queen beds for 2 kids (3 and 6) and 2 adults), simple, affordable and fairly convenient (car required for family except for the bare minimum beach across the street) in summer to Kings Beach (recommended) and Common Beach in Tahoe City. The Taco place next door is well worth it.... More

Wow. We were impressed! This is not a 4 star hotel but we weren't expecting it to be. For what it is - an older motel at the lake - it was superb. Pros: -price $79/night for a king room with a great view of the lake -private balcony looking out to the lake -comfy bed -really helpful and polite... More

This is a small mom and pop motel in a quaint little lake town. The rooms are nothing fancy, older but not shabby, and very clean. There was a fireplace in our room which added a lot of charm. Our room had two queen beds and a pull out couch which accomodated our family of 5 comfortably. The breakfast was... More

LOVE this place and will definitely return! The rooms are very nice and clean. Our room had a great view of the lake, which was just across the street, where there was a nice park and public beach. Kitchenette and big screen TV was an unexpected bonus. The owners are delightful and go out of their way to make you... More

My husband and I stayed here after we could not get in where we usually stay (Franciscan--another gem). We got the last room over New Year's weekend, and were pleasantly surprised. The room on the second floor overlooked the (empty for the winter) pool, and standing on the balcony we had a view of Lake Tahoe. While the furnishings were... More
