What a charmer of a place near the top of the town. Great hosts make for a wonderful stay and the price includes a fabulous breakfast and tops any place in the area. My only regret, I wish I had more time to stay here and enjoy the room, the hosts and their food!

A pleasant stay in Susanville on a two week motorcycle trip to Yosemite. The Roseberry house is a well maintained classic B&B within walking distance to the center of town. The owners are a delightful couple who treated us like family and prepared a fabulous breakfast that was by far the best of our trip. The rooms are well appointed,... More

What a wonderful experience! The property is lovely and very nicely done, but doesn't compare with the quality of the hosts, Richard and Charmy. They were so friendly and accommodating, and it made stay there even better. The breakfast was fantastic, and Richard offered to drive us to pick up our car after we cycled the Biz Johnson Trail, a... More

Richard and Charmy, want to thank you both again for the wonderful visit. Everything was perfect, Richard we volunteer to be your stuffed French Toast testers anytime. (Have you tried the Mead yet?) Only wish we lived closer so we could spend more time with you both. You make Roseberry house, a home away from home for tired travelers. Anyone... More

They have several very comfortable rooms. Their breakfast is beyond the call of duty. Location is a great over night stop for me on my way from Oregon to Yosemite. I ordered pizza to be delivered to my room which worked out great. Yummy cookies always at the front door!

My wife and I were returning from Spokane to our Sacramento home and made it a point to visit Susanville. For years the good folks of this historical town held an annual Susan Festival, where Susans from all over would attend. My wife is a Susan, and I had promised her that sometime we would go there. Several friends had... More

We were on a winter road trip heading north to Oregon and decided to see what places there might be to stay beyond Reno. Voila, Trip Advisor directed us to Roseberry House in Susanville, a town we had never heard of even though we had lived in California all our lives. We had a perfect visit with the lovely owners,... In Susanville for a week of business, I wanted to stay within walking distance of restaurants and away from traffic. Roseberry House was the perfect spot. The owners, Richard and Charmy, invited me in like family. The rooms are comfortable and filled with antiques, the breakfast was hearty and I was able to store my lunch leftovers in their refrigerator.... More

I needed a place to overnight between Oregon and the Owens Valley. Everyone said.. go to Reno, there's nothing in Susanville. They were wrong. The Roseberry House is in Susanville. After leaving home in OR for an extended work assignment and driving most of the day, this place was exactly what I needed. The beds are dreamy here. The rooms... More

For the past three years, I have been traveling to Susanville from Sacramento, CA once a month for work. As I told the lovely owners/hosts Richard and Charmy (pronounced Sharmy), it is a true shame that it took me three years to discover this wonderful Bed and Breakfast (BnB for this review)! Upon driving up to the lovely baby-blue colored... More
