We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Hotel Mt. Lassen. They are doing a great job of renovating the Historic Hotel and it is clean, homey but classy. The Staff is up and beyond freindly and accomedating and the food at the Lion and the Lamb is excellent with a professional chef to boot. We would highly recommend... More

Ug, stay in Reno and drive in to Susanville if you must. The good: the towels were clean, the lobby was nice, the room had new curtains and wifi. The bad: toilet was dirty upon arrival, with er.... leftovers. The bathroom was dirty dirty dirty, and it was obvious the floor had not been cleaned. The room smells funky and... More

The Hotel Mt. Lassen is the best classical hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing. The chef and owner even came out to visit us at our table. The location is central to old-town Susanville and we were able to see all the sights... More

A wonderful stay in a lovely friendly well run hotel. Comfortable accommodation coupled with fantastic selection of british foods especially the traditional brits favourite fish and chips !! The hotel had a lovely warm atmosphere about it and made you feel at home . After a busy day it was nice knowing there was excellent food to hand within the... More

We stayed here one night on a meandering trip that included parts of northern California. What a shame we didn't stay longer. Hotel Mt. Lassen was a great find. It is still a work-in-progress, but I will not be surprised if it becomes a much-loved destination for travelers and anyone looking for a nice getaway. We will certainly stay here... More

We were so surprise at the hospitality, attention and genuine warm service we received on our recent stay at the Hotel Mt. Lassen. A vintage and historic property that is being renovated with the charm of the late 1920's. We loved the spacious rooms, free wi fi, flat panel tv's and the beds were FANTASTIC. The best night's sleep I've... More

I was out in Susanville for a bit of business and opted for Hotel Mt. Lassen over the usual chain-style lodgings. Some quick notes: First - they have free Wireless Internet (WiFi), Cable tv on new LCD screens, and what has to be one of the most comfortable beds I've yet to encounter. I mention these things because I think... More

My wife and I arrived later than we expected. The clerk at the desk realized we were coming in dusty, tired and most of all hungry after spending the day at Crater Lake and Lava Beds monument. She offered to get a food order in, as the restaurant was closing soon, while we went upstairs and settled in a bit.... More

The hotel is in the historic downtown district, so we expected something older and that's what we got. Rooms were fairly clean. Bedding and beds were new, and comfortable, so I got a good night's rest. Hotel was a bit creepy, with bit of a feeling like it was out of the Shining. Very friendly service. Restaurant was surprisingly excellent.... More
