Stayed at the Country Inn in Sunnyvale last week, and it just didn't seem that clean. I had a room on the first floor, and there was a musty odor, and a particular dampness in the room. The carpet was very thick, which kind of grosses me out, and the bedspread and quilt didn't seem too clean. Breakfast was decent.... more

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter and we were very pleased. We had a wonderful time, and it was a great value. Even though we showed up before check-in time, they were still able to give us our room and even let us have breakfast! The breakfast was out of this world. They had a do-it-yourself waffle bar... more

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous ocassions and each visit has easily persuaded us to continue to return. The staff is not only friendly but helpful as well. The breakfast buffet is a plus. It has numerous of breakfast items which to choose from. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly everyday! Will return to stay here in the near... more

This is an ok place but most of the rooms smell like cigarette smoke. And this is a warning that I got some bug bites and I think they may have been bed bugs. I called the next day and they just shrugged it off. The rooms look old but clean. The breakfast is good. I'm worried that I got... more

I stayed in this hotel for one night on a business trip and really enjoyed my stay. They had warm cookies available when I checked in, and they overloaded me with cookies when they found out I was pregnant - big plus! I had dinner at the bar downstairs, and the asian salad I had was pretty good. The room... more

We paid $89/night, and it was worth every penny. My girlfriends and I had 2 rooms, and we were in town for a wedding. It was the perfect hotel for us - we gathered every morning to have breakfast together. There is also a cozy 'living room' type area with a fireplace to congregate in. Going back to breakfast, there... more

I got a very good price on this hotel, because it was the beginning of low season. First two nights I was put in a very nice room facing the courtyard...very quiet and comfortable except for the late night pool kids before bedtime. The rooms are well adorned but getting a bit old...I felt the place could use an update.... more

I never look forward to booking a hotel when we travel as a family. The Country Inn, however, was a perfect fit. Our "suite" had a separate bedroom completely closed off from the main living area. We were able to put our daughter to bed on the sleeper sofa, close the door, and go about our business w/o disturbing her.... more

I stayed here at the end of August 2007. As mentioned, the hotel is in an office park off Lawrence Expressway. It's a convenient location for surrounding areas such as Mountain View and Santa Clara, being near Hwy 237 and Hwy 101. Parking is free. I would call this an executive class hotel, similar to Courtyard by Marriott and the... more
