3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was visiting San Jose on a personal trip and got "assigned" this hotel from a Hotwire hot deal. It is an interesting hotel. First, the good things about this hotel. It seems to be recently refurbished and had a very nice lobby. The staff that checked me in was very friendly and professional. When I checked in, they had... More

Great location and hospitality! I have travelled to many different countries in my life but nothing really impressed me as much until my recent stay at Sheraton Sunnyvale that makes me feel so just like being at home. The front office reception staff were so willing to address customer needs and went beyond the mile to make my stay really... More

Feels more like 4 seasons than Sheraton, with motel like low rise buildings, outdated decor, and limited service/amenities. Would not stay here if it is not business trip. The gym is a nice touch and front desk is very welcoming. The rooms are clean. The maid should knock on the door before entering. The hotel is adjacent highway 101, so... More

Spent the night here. The set up is very sober and somewhat dated. The rooms are ok and it is nice that it has a residential feel to it. Staff is friendly. Rooms have no minibar. Breakfast is also very limited. And pretty expensive for $18 per person. Don't stay here when you expect comfort. Ideal for one night on... More

Outdoor heating wasn't working so water was cold. The jacuzzi made up the difference. Well priced for a large family and clean. We stayed two nights and would stay there again without looking around for another hotel. They met our expectation.

I stayed here for two weeks as a part of a business trip. There were some billing queries which I had to call multiple times to settle. The rooms were just above average for the prices charged. I guess the location is why the rooms are expensive. I have to say that the hotel does not live up to the... More

Overpriced even by Silicon Valley standards, this property didn't provide the value or experience expected. In addition to high room rates, the property charged for Wi-Fi connection ($9.95/day) as well as charging $18.00 for a mundane breakfast buffet (usually included at biz hotels, in my experience). The so-called executive level room did not have a microwave, but did have a... More

If business brings you to the Sunnyvale area, the Sheraton Sunnyvale. should certainly be considered for your stay. My key features for a business hotel are, a quiet, clean room, exercise facilities and a "walk to" restaurant. This Sheraton has them all, along with convenient parking near the room. The Exercise room will fill up at peak times, but it... More

Given it's location you can't beat this hotel for business needs. That being said it's very dated and expensive. If this hotel were located anywhere else it would not only be like a two star, but also would never be able to get away with charging the rate it does.

Clean, spacious room (in the 500 building). Surprisingly quiet given it's next to a highway (the window insulation is pretty good). Nice inner courtyard with pool. What really impressed us was their restaurant, though: Faz. It's much better than what you typically expect from this kind of business hotel. We tried different flatbreads as well as the filet mignon and... More
