The Wild Palms was a great hotel for the 60 dollar a night price on the weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool was nice with plenty of towels. Our room was very clean with everything we wanted. It didn't really have a lot of amenities, but was outstanding for the price. The canopy bed was nice,... more

I flew into California for a surprise birthday party. My mom and I stayed here for just one night, but the room was very nice. Extremely stylish, newer, clean and quiet. Had a seperate living area, lots of light, tall windows, comfy bed, down bedding...really beautiful. Gorgeous patio/pool area with good apps and cocktails. more

Been staying here off and on for a couple of years. Usually well done, with a few oh-by-the-ways. Seems to have gone a bit down the hill. No more wine in the evening and things do not seem to be taken care of. Lots of noise from adjoing room - did I notice that before? On the other hand the... more

Wild Palms was part of a value package that Travelocity put together for me for a trip to San Jose. San Jose convention center was my daily destination and the commute was easy especially after a great breakfast at Wild Palms. Other guests I meet at breakfast were friendly and just as pleased with the hotel. I would consider returning... more

I got this hotel for a quick weekend visit to the area, through a package deal with Travelocity. What a great find it turned out to be! Very warm and welcoming, with a cool and funky atmosphere; they've done wonders with what looks to have once been an old motel. The rooms are small but incredibly functional with well-designed and... more

So, I'll start by saying the room is fine. In fact, the bathroom was quite nice with good toiletries. Bed was comfortable. Bad news: the walls are paper thin. In fact in an awkward moment, I had to call the colleague I was travelling with at midnight (she was in the room next to mine) to ask her to get... more

I have stayed here several times. I have always been pleased with the room and extras. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The breakfast is fresh and tasty and the Happy Hour is welcome. This last time I had made several requests to the manager that were a little out of the ordinnary. Each time they were handled... more

Stayed here for 3 days - on the 2nd floor. Found the room dimly lit even with all the lights on. The canopy is an interesting touch. The TV reception is pretty bad. The wireless is slow but usable. The AC seems to only work when we were in the room so it was always v. stuffy @ 80F when... more

For a short visit, this hotel is more than adequate. No elevator, so definitely a room on the first floor is a plus, and better to be in a room that faces an interior courtyard, which is what I had. The room itself was spacious and spotless and in a quiet corner of the building. I appreciated the fact that... more

This place has perhaps the worst service I have run into in California. Along with a room that had a non-functioning toilet, the staff was rude and abnoxious. I checked into the Wild Palms for a night after a long international flight with my wife and young children. My children immediately crashed out and we found that the toilet did... more
