Rooms are small and dirty. Carpet was dark, torn at many places and very dirty. Bed covers had cigarette holes - although I was staying in a non-smoking room. Lighting is insufficient in the room. Lobby smelled bad. The key selling point - Jacuzzi - didn't work. Bathroom fixtures are ancient. You get to hear Caltrain every now and then.... More

The only good about this hotel is its location, near caltrain , Target, Maycy's... Also, The staff are good and informative. The room is terrible, small, dirty,...... The hotel smell bad. The water pressure is low in the second level. The complimentary breakfast is a big lie and...................... Before coming here consider that you are paying at least 60$ ,... More

Quite the nightmare. The only way this hotel makes money is by exploiting foreign students, tourists and the disadvantaged. The sad thing is, if you pay $100 rather than $60, it would make a world of difference. This place would be okay if you are into sharing your bathroom with all the hotel guests, enjoy filthy rooms and you have... More

My last stay at this hotel of the end of winter 2012 was a "nightmare". After a late afternoon check-in I found my room wouldn't lock from the outside. When calling the front desk about the matter an old lady at the front desk said that she would notify Maintenance, I waited several minutes and therefore had to go to... More

I'm fine with the room size. No problem. But if you're a light sleeper, DO NOT stay here. You hear the Caltrain every single time it passes by. The carpet is really dark and dirty. I would not recommend stepping barefoot on it. Not all rooms have their own bathrooms, you'll have to share one down the hall. The walls,... More

I stayed there for a day and it turned out to be a bad choice. The room had bad smell, rugged walls and wash-basin with dirty marks. Carpet in the lobby and room had spots and looked as there was no cleaning done for ages. I had troubles with wi-fi but the operator had little help to offer. Only plus... More

I stayed in this hotel for more than 2 weeks in July. The location is excellent being so close to the Caltrain station, shopping places and the wonderful historic murphy street. Otherwise this place is bad news. I suffered flea bites all over legs, arms, head, back... the maid service does not clean the rooms that well at all. The... More

The rooms are incredibly small, there were stains in the carpets, the shower was black on the floor who knows the last time it was cleaned. The towel racks in the bathroom were falling down. Continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal and coffee, there were no alternatives. None of the staff spoke clear english. All in all if I wasn't... More
