This is a nice place with all the amenities. Really nice afternoon snacks, good breakfast and even dessert in evening. I thought hosts were a cut above most inns. Room was clean and updated. The only issue we had was bathtub seemed filmy. Filmy meaning not clean and don't want to know what was causing the film if you get... More

This a very nice Inn within proximity of Carpenteria, Montecito, Santa Barbara & Goleta. The staff are friendly & helpful, the rooms are clean, our king bed was supremely comfortable, etc., all very good except... The noise from the 101 freeway. Unless you're a heavy sleeper or drink a lot before going to bed, wear ear plugs!

My wife and I have had a fantastic experience each and every time we have been fortunate enough to stay at the Inn. The rooms are so beautiful and exceptionally clean with exquisite views of the ocean. The staff goes well beyond what is expected in making our stay both enjoyable and relaxing. The breakfasts, afternoon appetizers, and desserts were... More

Don't get me wrong: This is an incredibly nice decorated B&B or Inn. The pictures of the Web site don' t lie about that at all. Thr rooms are even bigger than the pictures suggest and the service is very good. I nevertheless would never recommend to someone to stay here cause it is really very, very loud. Never mind... More

The hotel's internet ad had us believing that we would experience a serene, quiet stay at their hotel. Their ad features wonderful words with serene background music and a picture of the nearby beach. They failed to advertise that their hotel is located next to the 101 freeway and has a train track located next to the freeway with a... More

I love this place. Great staff, amazing breakfasts, beautiful rooms. We rented out this b and b for our wedding and have spent many happy anniversaries there. Yes, it is a little too close to the 101 but Santa Barbara has a train going through it at all hours anyway so we didn't mind it. We loved the hospitality of... More

I stayed at this Inn more than a year ago, as a gift from a friend who lives in Monceito, nearby. We both had a lovely room overlooking the ocean. I liked the decor and the private little garden area for sipping wine, or reading. The highway noise was not a big concern. Breakfast was more than ample, and the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was ample and decoration was comfy cozy. Altough warned of Fwy noise and occasional train, the room was quiet at night and during the day it did not seem bothersome. The views were quite nice from the balcony and enjoyed walking to the small town of Summerland. We could also... More

My husband and I just spend two days/nights at the Inn on Summerhill. We had a great time. We arrived a little early so the front desk gave us a few food recommendations. We headed to the sandwich deli just east of the Inn. We then headed to the beach for some sun. The Front Desk wasn't joking, we COULD... More

My husband booked three nights at Inn at Summerhill for my "big" birthday getaway trip recently. We usually love quaint little inns and B&Bs and prefer them over hotels. We've had one experience where we got up and left during the night at one B&B from hearing noisy neighbors in the next room. I hoped this would not be one... More
