We returned a couple of days ago from this hotel and while I have never reviewed any of our stays before I felt I couldnt but review this hotel. The hotel was full every night with various types of holidaymakers. The room we stayed in was huge and and had lovely views. This is a wonderful hotel for families, the... More

Left home at 4 a.m. so disappointed on arrival at 1 p.m.to be told curtly by the receptionist that our room wouldn't be ready until 3 p.m. Check out time was 12 p.m.so the time lapse seemed excessive. In fact the room was eventually ready at 3.15 p.m. Room was adequate and comfortable and the evening bar meal and breakfast... More

The reception staff sign you in,take your money and never say enjoy your stay or make you feel welcome in any way. The staff in general need complete retraining as client comfort or small requests are frowned on . Dust is in abundance everywhere and the tables in the dining room are chipped, scratched and generally dirty. Covering these with a... More

Stayed here for the Marine festival. Rooms was spacious and clean. Third floor corridor and room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke. I found old butts on the window sill. Bar is understaffed and bar menu limited. Breakfast was not edible. Kids crazy golf course is a health and safety issue with broken wood and screws protruding. Would have... More

well firstly the staff at reception weren't the most welcoming, the pool and gym hours were useless. The shower went from firey hot to ice cold with no real alternative. and the breakfast had no vegetarian option but tinned fruit or bread.

Stayed Saturday night, 21st June for a Hens night. Check in was quick, room was fine, beds were rock hard, even after a (good) few drinks. This Hotel made the mistake of not putting a Hen Party of 30 (excited) girls on a floor all together and separate from rooms that had children in them. We had a Cocktail making... More

I stayed here after an event in the region after talking with one of the managers Joanna, and im glad I did! The food is excellent, the room was fabulous and the breakfast is unbeatable. I used the leisure center in the morning and that's another reason why my short stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The free Wifi is very... More

Where would i start, we attended here as we were going to a wedding nearby. Waited at reception to be checked in for about twenty minutes which left us late for the wedding we were attending. rooms smelly and lampshades x 2 had big dirty damp stains on them, stale smoke smell in room. Room was very much as we had anticipated and expected. Staff were very friendly, in particular the maids and those who worked in the bar area. One downside however was that the windows on our ground floor room did not open, which was a bit uncomfortable during one particularly warm night - they open slightly to let in a small... More
