We should have followed our instinct when booking this hotel....as just looking at the hotel and the area one could figure it might not be the best place to stay and it wasn't...the phones didn't wok unless you used them a certain way but we were not told that when checking in, ice buckets but no ice...the front desk said... more

DO NOT book a hotel reservation with Hotels.com ever. We booked a king bed non-smoking for 8/7 thru 8/9 with Days Inn, el cajon, CA. but we ended up with a smoking room. Days Inn blamed my horrible experience on Hotels.com stating that Hotels.com are so desperate to book a reservation, they don't care what customers end up with. When... more

I grew up in Stockton but never stepped foot in this Hotel until now and couldn't believe how quite the rooms were. The service was excellent and having a poolside view(that means you get a small patio to sit outside) was just so relaxing. I couldn't have been more impressed, also I had two stores right next door for liquor... more

I will never stay there again. I was awaken at 3:30 a.m. by the front desk telling me that there had been two complaints that it was too noisy in my room. I was sound asleep with the television off. When I asked who made the complaint I was told that the information could not be disclosed. Before you are... more

I was given a smoking room, instead of a non-smoking one as I requested. The shower head was clogged so that the water that came out was a sharp spray. The fire alarm went off from the steam of my shower. Bar was closed by 9:25 PM, so that I could not purchase a beverage, except soda from a vending... more

This is by far the best hotel that i've stayed in. The best customer service. Everyone went above and beyong the extra mile to accomodate me. Sometimes you can't please everyone cause they expect too much. I just wanted a nice comfortable and clean stay and i received it here! Would definately come back with here in the future! more

Not like there are that many nice places to stay in Stockton, but this hotel, for the price, was a disappointment. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn for many years and had a stereotype of dank, dark, smelly rooms, and lo and behold, it was spot on. OK, the lobby is pretty nice looking, all marble and mirrors... more

The staff was very pleasant and nice, but the service was close to terrible! When I requested a cot, they had none. When I requested extra blankets, they had one. I asked for wake-up calls twice, they never called. I ordered a razor and they said they'd be right up, they never came. I had to go and get it.... more

For a Holiday Inn it was a bit of a disappointment. Staff was very helpful and friendly, but I ended up changing rooms 3 times! Finally got a decent room (the fourth I tried). First room had 2 queens (I had reserved a King). 2nd room the movie channel didn't work (not a big deal) but the thermostat on the... more
