The area is very unsafe. There are no local restaurants and their restaurant is very pricy and only fair. they charged both my company and myself for the room, so check your card when you return home for double billing. The receptionist was unable to tell us about restaurants, did not warn us that there are many homeless in that... More

I stayed here long term, had phenomenal time. While I worked on my studies I also had a place to entertain myself. The staff always attentive. Front desk has to best advice to restaurants and entertainment. Nick and his group very resourceful. My daughter, Isabel says, "thank you Nick for the hockey game tickets"

My wife and I stayed here with our 7mo son this past weekend. We had tickets to the Stockton Thunder game which was literally across the street. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. the rooms were nice with updated furnishings. My wife commented that the elevators were fast! (a slow elevator can be a bother sometimes to... More

We stayed here because we were attending an event across the street. With all the financial problems the Stockton waterfront has suffered over the last several years, I feared this property might be a bit sketchy. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and decently sized. The bedding was sumptuous. There was a very large well stocked bar on... More

For my cousin's destination wedding she chose Stockton,CA of all places. I had no idea where it was so I decided to google it. It turns out it is halfway towards Sacramento, CA. We had no idea we were in for a surprise. Upon arriving to the actual city the scenery changed to farmlands. Prior from our trip I checked... More

This is a recently Remodeled Hotel . Very Modern and Clean. Really comfy Bed and I loved the Shower. Nice Bar/ Restaurant area with a view of the Grounds and the Water. Walk to the Arena next door to catch a Hockey Game. We had appetizers which were very good. The Bar closed around 10 and we wished it were... More

I recently spent two weekend nights at University Plaza Waterfront, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely the hotel has been reworked. I had to be in Stockton, and the hotels I had previously used were booked so I tried this one. My room was extremely comfortable and the grounds were beautifully kept. Food at the restaurant was very... More

I won lunch at The Waterfront Hotel. The buffet was great and even the menu items was delicious. The wait staff at the Delta restaurant treated us like royalty. They were very attentive to our needs but not overly hovering. We would definitely eat there again. To top it off the Thunder won the game!

Several of our family members stayed here. The guest rooms were great. 3 of us had opportunity to stay in a loft /apt because we have family actually living on the premises in one. The area surrounding pool and outdoor seating was great. The activities made it also very kid friendly. The food served at the restaurant was excellent .... More
