I would never think that I would have reservations about booking a room at a Howard Johnson hotel and now I am having second thoughts. There wasnt much that I can say that is good about this hotel.

The shower only had hot water, that was the fastest shower I ever took. The coffee machine was unclean and still had residue from the previous person who used it. The hotel was a good price, but that is all that was good about it...I have stayed at Howard Johnson many times and never had such a crappy hotel. There were hookers, smokers, the pool was filthy, and the room was disgusting. The paint was peeling, the toilet looked like it had never been cleaned..It seriously needs to be renovated!!!

I was not impressed at all. Rooms were dingy. There was graffiti on the door in bathroom. Wifi did not work. Towels were stained. When they replaced the tow towels they would only level us one wash cloth even when told we needed two. We have stayed a different Howard Johnson's and enjoyed our room. We will never stay here... I paid for WiFi but only had it the first three of six days we were there. We had four people in our party but were only given two towels. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were extremely friendly.

This hotel is in a good location close to Disneyland, and not too far from the beach at Huntington. The condition of the hotel is appalling, the bathrooms fixtures and cabinet needs to be replaced, cracked tiles on the floor, fan not working, it was a mess.
