This is a great place to stay just a half hour from the entrance to Kings Canyon and felt really safe and friendly. The owners were helpful and really cared about the place. The other guests were chatty and all were headed to the parks: from all over the world. My teen daughters loved sitting outside (the weather was gorgeous)... More

It was ok - the usual run-of-the-mill rural motel. It wasn't dirty and I felt they worked to keep it acceptable. The owner was nice but I found him to be a slightly opinionated and a little short on people skills. This is probably through no fault of his own. Still, it bothered me enough to write this review. In... More

Room was very clean but also very very small and you could hear the people in the room next door as there was an interconnecting door. Owners very friendly and the cats very cute. Breakfast of coffee, toast, fruit and beautiful danishes served outside. Went to Bear Mountain Pizza for dinner (the only place close) and it was great. Good... More

Very nice for the price. You can tell the owners had a lot of work to do when they purchased this place, but the work has paid off. An OK breakfast is included in a nice little outdoor seating area. They have comfy beds and simple rooms that function just fine. They have a pretty nice swimming pool as well.... More

I agree with the other reviews on this site about this motel regarding the comfy beds and nice owners. I will add these thoughts: 1. The kids will love the ultra-friendly cats. They love getting attention and never bit or scratched. 2. The continental breakfast amounted to nothing more than grocery store-bought donuts, coffee, and delicious orange wedges. This was... More

We were planning to go to see the Kings County National Forest and then stay somewhere in Fresno, but didn't realize how tired we would be. We decided to stop at this little motel off the highway. We were concerned as the area looked a little seedy. Once we were greeted by this smiling man and his lovely wife, we... More

We stayed here on 9/5/05. I booked this place because of the location. We planned to stay in Sequoia National Park until late afternoon and drive to Yosemite the next day. But the resorts, etc. inside Sequoia were expensive, and we did not want to drive all the way to Fresno after dark. So....when we left the park, we drove,... More
