The hotel was excellent! Despite being far from restaurants and city activity, the free breakfast, stocked kitchen, incredibly comfortable bed, and free warm cookies at 5 made up for it. Downtown San Francisco hotels seemed outrageous and a colleague recommended the Larkspur which is close to the airport. Huge suite with living room, boardroom (!), double vanity, two closets, kitchen would have made this room good value even if it cost more than other airport hotels. Except that it didn't.
