We had a room in the historic main building. The room was quite charmingly quaint but small - so small you couldn't open the wardrobe properly because the door banged against the not-so-comfortable bed. Shower temperature was inconsistent. These flaws I could forgive for the price, but when I noticed the multiple stains on the blanket, including a fresh-looking brown... more

I was in room 315, on the backside of the main hotel. The room was dingy and depressing, but the A/C unit worked, the bathroom was decent, and it was remarkably quiet. It did take ten minutes for the shower water to get hot, but I can deal with that for the price, and though the bed was hard I... more

We had 9 rooms blocked off for my daughter's travel softball team. We had over a 2 1/2 drive just to get there and arrived around 5:45pm on Friday evening. I went to check in and was given the room keys to room 140 which was on the 2nd floor of the annex portion of the motel. My daughter and... more

Old hotel, vintage 1896. Nice historical ambience in old downtown Sonora. The room was tiny by modern standards, but clean & equipped with the basics. They could add a towel rack next to the small sink in the room I had - there is (barely) enough room for a short, hand-towel sized one. I had a bigger, nicer room the... more

Stayed here only for one night on my way back to Vegas from northern Cali. For the price of around $60 for the night, it was satisfactory only for one night since I didn't arrive until after 9pm and left before check-out. I definately wouldn't stay beyond one night. I stayed in the "newer" annex building behind the historic main... more

My husband and I arrived very early in the morning for our two day stay. We checked into our room, which was supposed to have 2 bathrooms and a balcony. Had neither, but did come with the unpleasant smell of a litter box. When I went to the front desk to complain the clerk told me he would speak with... more

We thought we got a great value at this hotel. We loved the location so close to the shops and restaurants. Christopher's Ristorante was wonderful. more

Well, the hotel itself is quaint. It is a little outdated but otherwise fine. The problem is the manager. Her name is Star. She was very rude and would not address my problem promptly. She was just yelling and throwing things in front of guests. Very unprofessional. I will never go back to this hotel until this horrible manager is... more
