Ok this was just horrible, the room we were given was away from the main building right on the main street front, it stunk of stale cigarette, stunk of chemicals, no way....so we went and asked for a new room, oh, the manager said, don't use these rooms 15-18 their smoking rooms...oh she's only new. Well the new room wasn't... More

This is a motel ...our room was at the front so it was very noisy .It is on a very busy main road that is also very difficult to cross, it went quieter later in the evening .The room was very tired and dated ,the bathroom was grubby, the wallpaper had stains all over it and the shower floor was... Even though the amenities looks fair, there is wifi, cable TV, microwave and refrigerator, the room looks really neglected and not clean. The wifi never worked, the breakfast was a disgrace (in the front desk with no tables or chairs to sit on) the pool was a joke. The only positive thing I could say is the friendly staff. But... More

I am sorry that the room you were in needs to be updated. We are in the process of remodeling our rooms, but with 111 it takes some time. We are getting one room done every week. We would like you to come stay with us again and give us another try and find the rooms looking much better. More

This hotel is a little rough around the edges and could do with a little bit of updating. Having said that the room had everything including mini fridge, microwave oven, and free in room wifi. The hotel is located within a very easy walk to a grocery store, cafes, bars and numerous restaurants. We stayed on the top floor and... More

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding the night of August 2nd. Our room was in the main building; I think it's called the 49er building. For a two star motel, it's decent. We had a room in the back on the third floor. Quiet and clean, everything worked. Friendly, kind staff. Our friend, however, was in the... More

Three years ago we were going to stay at this hotel. Called two weeks in advance to cancel our reservation but payment was taken out of our account anyway. After two months of fighting with management, we gave up. Over $200 was taken out of our account for a room we didn't use. Fast forward to this past weekend. We... More

I am truly sorry your daughter lost her wallet during your stay with us. The housekeeper that cleaned your room had been with us for many years and we have never had a complaint about her. We do not get involved in any complaints about stolen or lost property we let the local police department handle it. It is not... More

Firstly, the township is an old gold mining camp that has expanded but now the town itself looks as though its struggling to stay afloat..Mexican miners named the town after the mexican state. Now for the hotel. An older style three storey building hotel with what might be described as average rooms, but the rooms are clean and the staff are cooperative. Some people... More

This place is on the Main Street into town - great location, but some traffic noise. It is built into the hillside, so is on a lot of levels. Ground Floor at the back turns out to be three or four stories up when you come out the front. Noise at the back too - the local Fire Department park... More

I am sorry to hear that the fire trucks disturbed you. They were here supporting our local departments from counties around the state. We are having a severe drought and from the middle of June through the fourth of July weekend fire dangers were extremely high and several Cal Fire units were dispatched to our area to help with fire... The property fits well with the picturesque gold rush town Sonora. Tucked on hilly slopes, all three floors are accessible by ramp. The rooms are no doubt small. The hotel should provide smaller beds to create more free space. The bathroom is excellent, and toiletries of good quality are provided. An important point to be noted is that a microwave... More

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We do have several room types with 1 bed or 2 beds and the different room types allow for more space depending on the room requested. When you make a reservation with us next ask the front desk staff if a larger room is available, perhaps a deluxe... More

Traveling through the area unexpectantly late on a weekend evening, we were having a difficult time finding a place to stay for the night, (big weekend concert in the area) but came across this place that said "vacancy". We were tired, and the outside looked decent, so we stopped to inquire about a room. They said they had one room... More

I am sorry you were not happy with your room. Perhaps you could let us know what room you stayed in. The front desk staff would have been more than happy to check the room and fix any issues that were present. We are also in the process of remodeling our rooms to make them brighter. More
