My husband and I stayed here (Oct.3-) for one nite for our Honeymoon on our way through California... We thought we would be staying in a nice, romantic B&B in Sonoma... Boy, we were WRONG. Well first it started when we tried to cancel our room b/c we were 7 hours south of Somoma and didn't think we could make... more

My huuband and I first visited the Victorian Garden Inn in July 1998 for part of a Honeymoon trip. We have just completed a trip celebrating our 10th anniversary (a bit early) and the Garden Inn was on the itinerary. It was just as wonderful as it was 10 years ago. We highly recommend this as a very special place... more

Charming old home, cozy, warm, pretty rooms, pleasant hostess, and delightful breakfasts included. Enjoyed the stay very much, including taking advantage of the massages available. Recommend this for others who want a charming place at less than insane price. Walking distance to lots of interesting places in the oldest part of Sonoma, and some really good restaurants. more

We stayed at the Victoria Garden Inn in September, only to be told to be sure to check in by 4 pm. We flew in from Canada, drove like mad to get there, but did not manage to arrive by the deadline. We found our key with a note asking when we would want breakfast served - between 9 am... more

Excellent place to stay and unwind. The lush gardens surrounding the old Victorian home bring thoughts of yesteryear and give one the feeling of contentment. Only two blocks from the plaza where you can find great food, music and friendly people. Donna and Thelma are great hosts. Our stay was an absolute joy. more

We stayed at the Victorian Garden Inn during our recent trip to the wine country. It's a beautiful spot...conveniently located to not only all the wineries but also the fun stuff to do in Sonoma. ...It's easy walking distance from the Inn to shops, restaurants, movie theater and the historic Plaza. The Inn itself has beautiful gardens.. a wonderful wrap-around... more

I had a peaceful and relaxing stay at this peaceful little Bed & Breakfast. This was my second stay. The attention to detail was fantastic, including mints in the room! The Gardens combined with the fountains allowed created relaxing environment. The Plaza is within walking distance so I never needed to drive my car. The mission is 1/2 a block... more

We stayed here for a Fri/Sat night. The directions on the Internet were completely wrong and we got very lost, in the dark in Sonoma. When we finally got through the person we spoke to said she was "tired" ; we had been up since 5am and we were the customers! Three phone calls later we found it, no night... more

We stayed at the Victorian Garden Inn for three nights over New Year's Eve. We had two very nice rooms in the main house. The owner, Donna, was very nice and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and visit. We would stay here again. more

We are a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. The building is not a modern building. It was built in 1870; therefore we decided to make the decor match the outside by including antique furniture in every room. The hot tub is outdoors and it is behind a gate for privacy. The hot tub and pool are both cleaned once...
