This is a very nice B&B in Sonoma with a good breakfast and nice location. The management is very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations. They also provide a free wine tasting card good at over 30 wineries in the area.

We spent a delightful three days at Cinnamon Bear in May while visiting Sonoma for a family wedding. The B&B is not walking distance to downtown but is a quick drive into town and perfectly situated for wine touring up north in Glen Ellen and Kenwood. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished but the real highlights are the public... More

Stayed is their "nicest" king suite. The room was clean & spacious (only one other is spacious). It's on route 12 and noisy. Not only is there highway noise, but the desk phone rings all night. Have you heard of call forwarding? Only one channel on the tv works. Internet was spotty - and there is NO thermostat. In fairness... More

Not quite sure how we could have done better regarding this guest's experience. After their first night a comment was made regarding road noise. My assistant made arrangements for this couple to move and when the room was ready the man said, "no, we'd like to stay in our room, it's perfect." Last year we replaced the windows in this... More

I keep trying to think of one good thing about Cinnamon Bear and can't think of anything. There aren't any extra niceties here and isn't that what a B&B is supposed to have? Your "host" is an unpleasant woman who greeted us for breakfast with "sit we'll feed you". A simple good morning would be a better start. Our room... More

We remove the A/C units in the fall to allow more floor space for our guests. We're installing them this week. Usually the ceiling fan is more than adequate this time of year. Regarding the bed, in 20 years, I've never had a guest complain about our sheets. On this bed there is a down filled topper for extra comfort.... More

My husband and I stayed here on a recent visit to Sonoma. We absolutely loved it! I can't say enough good things about the staff. Kristen assisted us when we arrived and helped us get a dinner reservation. She was super sweet and helpful. Cathy assisted us the rest of our stay and provided great advice about the area. They... I drove to Sonoma without reservations in March and stopped in a Tourism Office to find a place to stay. We had never stayed at a B&B before and found the rate favourable. When we arrived we were instantly greeted by Darla who made our first B&B experience memorable. She checked us in and gave us the large room on... More

We arrived in Sonoma with no accommodation booked, and this place was recommended by the tourist office. It is about a mile from the town square, which is full of pretty shops, restaurants and wine tasting houses. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, with a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The room had an external door with outdoor seating,... More

We found this to be a very charming, clean and friendly place to spend a few days. We arrived late afternoon to be greeted by a gracious host who showed us around the inn and provided us with some local knowledge and some perks. Our room was the one pictured with the corner fireplace and chandelier. It is larger than... More

I made a mistake when making my reservation and booked the wrong night. When we showed up and realized the mistake, the girl at the front desk very graciously called her manager to come meet us to see if there was anything we could do to mitigate the 7-day cancellation policy that was about to get invoked... The manager comes... More

I'm sorry but nothing short of a full refund for their booking mistake would have made these people happy. My manager was requested to come in from her home and meet with them when they arrived a day early and our inn was full. She made every effort to make them happy short of offering a full refund but they... More

Let me first say that I thought this was a bed & breakfast I stayed at before but upon arrival I realized I was wrong. Nice staff and breakfast but room was really small and towels were old with ragged edges etc and should have been replaced. Just average. Wouldn't stay here again. street traffic is very loud
