Quaint BnB with a quirky but great atmosphere. Great base to explore Sonoma (famous Square in 30mins walking distance) and surroundings. John and Ruth are great hosts with lots of information and recommendations available. Rooms are cute and although maybe a little over-stuffed, super clean. The breakfast on the terrace is great.

We stayed in Sarah's Cottage - very quaint and cozy! If you like old-fashioned, rustic styled venues, this will be right up your alley. Joe makes a lovely breakfast for the guests on most days and we sat out on the porch of the main house to eat! We loved sitting on the porch of our cottage and sipping coffee... More

This was our first time staying overnight in Sonoma. Living in SF, we are close and go up to Napa about once or twice a month. My boyfriend was running a 10k in Sonoma so we decided to make a weekend out of it. Sonoma Chalet was WONDERFUL. It was a quaint house located on the side of a mountain.... More

This place is wonderful; like your best memories of being at your grandmother's house... if your grandma is super cool, has awesome old things and feeds you well! Just minutes from downtown yet 'in' the country. We took my mom - she had the Indian room, we had Sara's cabin. Super comfy, immaculate, and so fun to explore. Slept better... More

We stayed in the Indian Room for 1 night during our 2 week holiday to the States. It was such good value compared to the other accommodation options in Sonoma town, and it was exactly what we were after - a homely stay within a 10/15 min walking distance of the main square. The owner of the B&B was so... More

This was the most memorable place I have ever stayed. While close to town it was like being in the country. I loved having our own individual cabin, cover front porch with seating for relaxation. When we entered our cabin, it was like a walk back in time to a slower peaceful place. I have never been more stress free.... More

We stayed here for two nights over the 4th of July. Our first afternoon we unpacked and explored the grounds, you really feel like you're in the country! There are several "sitting spots" around the property, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. Speaking of wine, the owner provides a "free tasting" card that's good at a couple dozen... More

This was the second stop on our honeymoon and we loved the serenity of the Sonoma Chalet. Joe was a wonderful host as he showed us to our room and made sure we would be comfortable. We stayed in the Indian room which was filled with quirky antiques many with an Indian theme. We loved sleeping with the door to... More

We stayed here for a special birthday in Sarah's Cottage--I almost hate to write this so I can claim it all to myself! Our hosts were welcoming and very helpful. Our particular room was out in the back, on its own acre or so-- very private! We got visits from deer, hummingbird, ravens and the local quail family. Close to... More

Stay in your own rustic-kitsch chalet. A fantastic fusion of design, comfort and days gone by. Joe is a gentleman and a superb host with plenty to tell you about the area and which restaurants to eat at in Sonoma (a short 10-15 min walk to the centre). This was our second stop on our honeymoon and it was a... More
